I definitely agree with this. I think the hardest hit will be the pop and rap genre perhaps. 
 
Naturally, there's going to be exceptions, like internet related physical releases perhaps like mixtapes and unreleased things. But I think it's much better to only collect for 1 to 2 artists max. 
 
I actually have had to sell a few pieces from my collection as an auction, and in the end I mostly got back what I spent on the records themselves. Naturally, these were more pop oriented records too. I'm curious to know of anyone else's experience with this. 

Amazon edition is either geo filtered locked now or out of stock! I had it in my basket ready to buy last night but I love myself too much to blow another $60 after nearly spending $100 on the other 2 copies

It’s like $60/$70 with shipping to the US, it’s ridiculous prime doesn’t cover the orders from the UK. Can’t decide to go ahead & order or see if they add more, or buy a Target edition early in case it’s another BB situation :/

Already got the pink and dark pink and green holy shit. Waiting on the signed stuff so wont get the standard just yet

is the green vinyl limited to 4000 worldwide or per territory

I just bought all the vinyl variants (along with the CD). I've never done this before, lol, but I couldn't resist. The artwork is fantastic. 

literally same I never actually buy multiple versions of the same album no matter how much I like it but Neil put his Krugussy into these variants 

Banquet Records are great! They are a record store in London that put on multiple gigs, signings and are super great for their online orders - always worth checking out for personalised vinyl signings for artists (big artists and smaller artists). 

It looks like Australia's getting a couple of JB-Hi Fi exclusives, which are the alternate cover CD, and the 'dark pink' vinyl. I'm not sure if they will be manufactured here - probably not.

I was lucky enough to score the Indies exclusive version from a local record store yesterday. I checked again today and all of them within 200+ miles are gone.
