I love A&W so much. I love all her stuff, but it's been awhile I been really obsessed with a LDR song.

The "Oh my God" at the beginning of the Jimmy part is so iconic and sexy 

I feel something so special about the songs released so far. They are very nostalgic and their soundscape is so beautiful and weird in a good way. 

I think the very positive reaction to A&W from the limited circle of critics is a good sign. I feel that the song will be a perfect representation of the album - dark, melodic, some piano,  somewhat instrumental, some trap beats, very different vocal styles, wordy and storytelling-style. If they liked so much diversity in 7 minutes I’m sure they’ll love the album. 

I don't think this album will be anything like Lust for Life.

To me it sounds like Sam Dew, the 1/3 member and lead singer of Jack’s other musical project Red Hearse (so underrated btw)
 
Not the first time his vocals were present in another artist's song, case in point Taylor Swift's Glitch
 
And Jack produced A&W so it’s not out of the realm of possibility that he could've used a brief snippet of Sam’s voice for that part

are you referencing the pitched down parts of the "jimmy only love me when he wanna get high" lyric? because if so, it's just pitched down to a few semitones lower i think, and there's layered distortion and effects added on it to make it sounds sort of grainy and textured. i’m not a producer so i don’t know any of the technical terms for that style of stuff, but i hope this helps.
