I sold my copy that had that ugly black stain on it. I got a refund from Interscope without having to send it back.
At least I bought two copies originally.
Except I just opened my second copy and... it has a similar black mark on it

I doubt they would refund me for the same complaint again. Should I buy a new copy? I hate the black smudge so much. How did I get two copies with imperfections

also, if quavo was behind this, he'd probably have mentioned a release date. But since it's lana, we get a snippet and then no word on it for months - like with henry. Even the aesthetics is the same.

Yeah the Polaroids and the lyrics to the song definitely give country so I wouldn’t be surprised if this was for lasso, tho now I’m a little confused about the overall sound because the snippet doesn’t sonically read country at all. I’m just hoping whatever she puts out is cohesive. I know Beyonce managed a massive melting pot of genres that still felt like it all belonged together with cowboy carter but this snippet isn’t really giving cowboy carter levels of production so….

Really hope Jack gives us production like I Can Fix Him (No Really I Can) and Fresh Out The Slammer from TTPD. I know a lot of you hate Taylor but listen to those songs, they are sooooo Lasso vibes and Jack produced them. 

Actually there is a nice solo version by her already. There's this amazing microphone record from the NFR tour in Sacramento, where she performed it live.

Fully agree, he was my first thought when I saw your question. I totally love his work, both with Lana and Taylor. I really hope to hear his work on LASSO, too. Besides, I would love to hear Lana doing something like the first half of the current Bleachers album. No idea how this could sound, but something tells me it could be cool. Could be like a more mature version of born to die.

I think so, too, as these times (finally, luckily) seem to be over in general, but I also feel like September is realistic. She's just announced it, without starting a pre-sale. In the last years I usually preordered vinyls so many months ahead of release date, now it's like 2 months max. for any artist. I hope Lana won't be an exception, I'm tired of paying for stuff arriving 6 months later.
