1. Fearless (ik this is an odd choice for no.1, but i will always love this song, the opening guitar riff puts me in such a good mood. it might be in my top 10 Taylor songs)
2. ...Ready For It? (i've made my case about this one. it's a great way to start this banger album!)

4. willow (i love this one so much, it reminds me of a warm duvet on a cold winter night. it gets me into the mood and world of the album.)

6. WTNY (this song is SO overhated. it goes so hard, it just encapsulates 1989 so well.)

8. Fortnight (i just don't like the song opening the album. even tho the opening line is iconic, i honestly would've preferred the title track as the first song. i really like it as a song tho.
9. Lavender Haze (meh. this song is ok, i actually really liked it at first, but it kinda fell off for me. "meet me at midnight" as an opening line is just... eh.)
10. Tim McGraw (I don't really love debut, but this isn't a bad song. it just doesn't really compare to the ones above it)
11. IFTYE (her worst song ever. at least ME! is iconic in some way, this one is just so lifeless and bleh. hate it.)

I don't practice tarot but over the years I've learned the meanings of the cards and doesn't the tower mean fail and crash and doesn't the devil mean addictions and being your own prisoner or something? Yes but also during that time we heard about some "bombastic outtakes" from the NFR! sessions that Jack teased. Plus the Cinnamon Girl outro which Jack talked about being a last minute change cos Lana came back from a trip pissed off at a guy or something.
 
We then have the mystery of the White Hot Forever concept and how that was originally the title of Chemtrails Over The Country Club but also the initial song title for Tulsa Jesus Freak.
 
Then there was the strange addition of The Trio (Interlude) on Blue Banisters. And who knows what Rock Candy Sweet outtakes could sound like if they exist?
 
And finally, I think we definitely heard a sonic shift on Ocean Blvd with the latter few songs and the Jimmy segment of A&W.
 
This could all hint at there being other sounds and vibes being put together behind the scenes over the past 4 years?

i hope that quavo’s team send this to the radios cause we know damn well that lana won’t do it  this deserves to be the hit of the summer
