I submitted my nominees!  Choosing the nominations for each category in the Lipsters Awards was probably one of the difficult things ever. We have so many amazing users here who have made this site a better place with their kindness, humor and great thoughts! But this time I skipped the categories which were "less positive" because I really couldn't think of many users for these categories. I also thought of sharing here which users I nominated in each category to hype and encourage others to nominate and vote for them but I won't because I'm scared that it would cause a big controversy. I don't really want anyone to feel left alone just because I forgot to nominate someone... I might do a big post one day in the Members Appreciation Thread in the future for sure! I thought I won't do this, but it seems so fun seeing other do this, so this week I'll definitely do the "For Your Consideration" post for funsies hahah!

Next year, we need a Kuntiest Member award, for whoever served the most cunt that year. And I’m starting my promo for it right neow.

Yes, Terrence Loves You, Heroin, hope is a dangerous thing for a woman like me to have - but I have it, The Blackest Day, A&W, and ... well I don't need to go on, you know my taste is immaculate. Absolutely agreed  There's a reason both of these albums are in my top three list — just so cinematic in different ways ... Honeymoon is world-building, full of colour, it feels like early mornings and late sunsets in sunny places; Ocean is introspective, black and white, noir, it feels like the light from a lighthouse flashing over a dark stormy sea, like twinkling lights of a big city at night, like looking out over the mountains illuminated by just the moon (or least to me) 

I hope we could get some LFL outtake leaks soon 

I think this is her best album - it’s full of so much personality and soul that it feels like a window into Lana’s mind. It only sounds better and better with time 

Looks like all of Lana's Target exclusives (and all of UMG artist) are removed from the Target website. Apparently UMG ended their years long contract with Target for Target exclusives. 
 
So if you see them in person now is the time to probably buy them before prices rise for resale.
 
Also this makes me wonder if they can repress BB red vinyl variant and sale them again like the UO represses of UV and L4L now that exclusive deal endeded.

Feeling you quite a lot. He trashed Lana until it became fashionable to praise her with NFR. If I dont remember wrong, he gave Ultraviolence a 2/10 or something in that regard. Couldn't care less about his criteria.

Crying of joy in the car to my Christmas holidays location bc we have a tradition in our family that every holidays our father gets a new cd for the family. And usually it’s obscure jazz or classic but today. This evening. He got Ocean. I’m with my cat listening to Kintsugi. And it feels heavenly. Perfect. Beautiful. I’m so happy

Last night, Lana Del Rey stopped to meet a fan while attending The Nutcracker ballet performance at the Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles, California.

That was my first thought too!
 
I love hearing echoes of Lana's past lyrics crop up in her newest songs. Seeing the thoughts that have followed her throughout her life, like a connecting thread of consciousness, is really special
