this is gonna be an amazing album because it’s literally just gonna be elizabeth and not lana

I am way more excited for this record than NFR and it also comes from the fact that I'm coming in with zero expectations since release date is so close and we have nothing. I don't even want to know about the cover or design I'm just here for the music and sound and I want it to be loud and rocky à la West Coast

This will be her best yet I can feel it

Fingers crossed the name is a satire, and she doesn't ACTUALLY believe in chemtrails.

What we know so far:
 
- The original release date was September 5th, 2020; however, the album has been postponed from this date. It was believed to still be released in September according to Interview Magazine, but this did not come to fruition.
- Lana has since estimated a December 10th, 2020 or January 7th, 2021 release date due to vinyl production during her 'Violet' signing, and then stated it would be pushed back further due to vinyl processing plants not opening until March during an Instagram Live.
- Lana will be collaborating with Jack Antonoff, the producer of her previous record 'Norman Fucking Rockwell'
- May be filled with "love songs and breakup ballads" per Life & Style Magazine on April 1st, 2020
- The first video will be for the title track 'Chemtrails Over the Country Club' directed by BRTHR per her Instagram announcement post
- 'Let Me Love You Like a Woman' will be the first single according to her Instagram announcement post
- Neil Krug will be photographing promo for the record, as he was on set for the 'Chemtails Over the Country Club' music video
- There may be a homemade video for 'Tulsa Jesus Freak/White Hot Forever' according to her Instagram post featuring the track
- Lana Del Rey has announced the album pre-order for January 11th in her Instagram post.

How does this snippet and title already sound better than EVERYTHING on L+F? No joke. I have a feeling this next album might be her best. I think she saw the criticism from L+F and will learn from it. Plus she has a constant habit of flip-flopping between basic pop and doing more alternative, self-written stuff (TFJ to EH, EH to Froot, Froot to L+F anyone??)

like snippets coming out don't really mean anything, if people wanted to leak the album they'd leak it by now

This album is shaping up to be very mediocre.

AGREE, everyone on Twitter is living for the snippets but to me they sound REALLY basic (pls don’t let this be her L+F)

It does not have the "gaga" touch so to speak.

Sounds like it’s full of bops, dance, house, electronic. But does not sound like anything progressive, inventive and like an album I will forget about after a few weeks.

Not gonna lie, based on the snippets they both sound incredibly mediocre. Rain On Me even more.

Hana confirmed everyone’s aware of the leaks and that they’re annoyed. Hopefully this will result in the album dropping sooner.
