Guys remember when Lana said there would be a video for NFR + Bartender + HiaB? Lol she's so funny.

Saw on a FB Lana group that the triple video was scrapped (with the info that WHF was not the title of the next album). Don't know if it's true, but either way, if she decides it's too bad to show, I'm gonna believe her lol. Her HM video was really dull, the MAC video is really a stain on her videography....

Saw on a FB Lana group that the triple video was scrapped (with the info that WHF was not the title of the next album). Don't know if it's true, but either way, if she decides it's too bad to show, I'm gonna believe her lol. Her HM video was really dull, the MAC video is really a stain on her videography....

UV's video works for me... It's super vintage/homemade and intimate, as if you had found a forgotten 8mm film from a doomed mariage.Β 

VB's video ain't the best either, not much going on, but it works better than MAC's, I think...Β

Just knowing there was other footage that was made for Ultraviolence makes the official video look extremely lackluster to me. Doesn't work for me unfortunately. Cute but boring I guess?

#UnpopOpin, but I really love the Ultraviolence video. It's actually one of my favourites. There's some really gorgeous shots and the intimacy of the whole video just adds something extra. I really appreciate her simple videos as much as I love the big budget ones too. That being said, it seems that the 3-part video falls somewhere in-between, and I really hope it's not scrapped :ohno:

Totally agree! It's not to say that I don't like it, it's just not my favourite, but definitely a step above the other videos I've mentioned.

Knowing Lana I have a feeling we won't get other videos, let alone a single video, for this album/era.Β  :rip:

on the drive home today I listened to Mariners, and it was such a beautiful experience. Watching the sun set, sipping warm apple cider, I felt like Lana was hugging me with her words and making me feel okay, and I really needed this. One of her best songs of the era and of her career, lyrically and sonically.

Lana told a fan she met yesterday that didn't think WHF would be the title, but it would be a single from the album. We shall see if that ever comes to fruition

ummm... the Paradise era was clearly the best.Β  Ride, Blue Velvet,Β (bonus track/video) Burning Desire + TROPICO (Body Electric, Gods & Monsters, Bel Air) makes 6 videos for that era.Β  And between Ride and Tropico these videos were coming straight from Lana's creative vision.Β  No lazy iphone videos.Β  These were top notch visionary.Β  I'd love to see her top this era someday, but it's feeling less and less likely as the years go by.
