Perfectly stated :gclap:this spiritual, one with nature vibe that I get from this record is palatable

definitely! and i feel like nature is incredibly spiritual, there's something so artistic and inspiring about it, i get a "into dust" by mazzy star vibe from yosemite intuitively, or maybe "oh say can you see" demo, very simple yet impactful, you envision the grand canyon, or a starry night in a field, and you feel at one with the world around you, i think yosemite is going to be similar to that

the album being a cohesive folk/country masterpiece all the way through :wowcry:

I've been begging for this since Ultraviolence. I knew there was a reason "Let Me Love You Like a Goddess" resonated with me more deeply than others. I knew it was coming :oprah:

I asked Asmodeus (the demon of lust) to make Miley Cyrus suffer. I am not happy with these new developments. After Miley rips off Lana's aesthetic, she bullies Lana into changing her release date. It is infuriating.

Thinking about how she could have released a pearl merch collection. Like chandelier earrings from cocc, or like gloves with baby pearl embroidery, something stunning since we’re at the country club,

with the album concept we really could have been served something stellar

thinking bout white dress, thinking about Yosemite, thinking about cocck :hae:

That would've been perfect :icant: or like knit sweaters embroidered with "LDR" and a Chemtrails Country Club emblem

I wish I knew why Mojo gave COCC an 80 and NFR a 100 (if I remember correctly)! I know I’ll love the record either way, but I’m curious what they felt was different?

Probably just different reviewers with different standards and willingness to give outrageous scores like 100/100.

I feel like anything from 80-100 signifies a great record from the reviewers standpoint

That makes sense, and I completely agree! As a side-note, I’m like 10x more hyped for Dance Till We Die and For Free now—referring to them as “outstanding” and “gorgeous” respectively means a lot coming from Mojo!

I’m guessing it doesn’t have that standout song like the greatest or hope. Maybe it’s just a collection of really good songs but Norman had a lot of important statements.

A collection snoozefests
