so I like taking photos whenever I'm driving and well basically just living but. and don't shit on me for technique, it's a free app (also I just don't have the patience to make casual fan edits): but I was chasing clouds some time around the end of summer, like years back and took this photo. 
 

 

 

 

 

so obviously the technique's just not there. but conceptually, you get the drama and beauty of the clouds as a backdrop, and have Lana taken at the forefront with flash. think of Chuck's shot for National Anthem, but you can still see the luminescence of the skies in the background. also, i'm kinda hoping it'd be an active shot, similar to Amy Winehouse's Frank. 

edit: just imagine being able to photograph Lana, like professionalism forsure, but IMAGINE???? I've so many ideas. like the martini on fire for starters.

And I was just thinking that a dynamic cover would be nice, something like your second edit, with the wind in her hair! I'd love it

heya thanks! I mean obviously if she were photographed in the actual photo it'd be a COMPLETELY different photo, like imagine being able to create w her like WOW. but yeah, I'm hoping the cover's got an active quality to it, like an active frame or something. and I'm hoping that there's something lustrous about the cover, and has some kind of sweet miasmatic quality to it. imagine the maaaagic

i'm torn. as much as I'd love a textless cover, "Chemtrails Over The Country Club" is too iconic a name to be left out of the cover. Maybe she can go textless for Pacific Blue lol

if she does have the title on the cover i hope that's the only text since it's such a long title, and it should be a very elegant font nothing too over the top. the typography lana chooses for her covers can be really hit or miss at times like honeymoon and nfr covers could've been much more aesthetically pleasing with better fonts

i'd love typography like this, but smaller and the title is written in a single line across the top or bottom!

It’s a covers album that she casually mentioned to Q Magazine in October 2019! I don’t think she necessarily has anything recorded for it and I don’t think it’s a confirmed-with-her-label type of release, she just said she would love to make a record of covers and call it that!
