she planned to release 3 EP’s to make 1 big album. she released the first EP, then nothing else. not a word about the project for over a year. the entire album ended up leaking earlier this year, and now she has to completely remake the album. still no official release date for it yet either. we heard the term “she is miley cyrus” for the first time today in over a year.

Seeing as they posted the video interview on Thursday (i thought it would've been Friday) gives me strong hope that maybe, just maybe she'll give us some album related news today. The twitter witch said the album was coming on the 18th, so this Friday would really be her best chance to drop that pre order/cover/tracklist. It would seem odd to be doing that all next week, so if nothing happens today, i think we can cross September 18th off our lists too

I mean, I know this isn't the Miley Cyrus thread, but her home burned down, she went through a divorce, she had to have vocal cord surgery which all had an affect on her album roll out. Plus only several songs from the record leaked this year... Miley leaked a tracklist last year and very few of those songs have leaked. I think if you consider Midnight Sky the lead single then this is the album campaign just beginning.

I think Lana should've done a similar thing with NFR! Released Fuck It, I Love You as the lead single, The Greatest as second single (with double visual), Doin Time as third single and still include Mariners and Venice Bitch on the record but not drag it out for a year.

I'm at a point where I'm not sure what to think. I feel like we've had so much disappointment that we can't see what's right in front of us.

 

The fact that she's on The Interview's cover means something's about to happen. Whether that be only a promo single like LMLYLAW or an updated album announcement with the new release date, something has to drop soon. Right?
