it's perfect, the color pallet is exactly how i imagined for this era, and i love the dreamlike hazy quality, it looks like she's gazing through a crystal cave or something, and the background looks like she's floating in the sky, also is that a cartoony half moon on her right? it reminds me of the wizard of oz meets willy wonka and the chocolate factory, looking at it makes me want to eat some candy

Well thank you so much for saying all that  I had also imagined a hazy, dreamlike quality with a bright colour palette for this record and I liked that the crystal cave framing the shot of Lana looked like rock candy! And no, I think the way the crystals were positioned just left a little half-moon-shaped cut-out so it’s totally not intentional but I love it now that you say that...I’m so happy you like it! <333

yep! i remember when she announced COTCC  and her upcoming poetry book  and she said she would be "further detailing her thoughts" in them... (or  something along those lines). 

 

I mean we haven't seen the poetry book yet  but  COTCC doesn't really seem to  be manifesting itself as  a QFTC 0.2 so i guess it's just a pretty effective (or not) way to announce an album.
