In all honesty I think Thunder could fit just fine, it’s kinda sorta like Text Book in its vibe. Plus she’s put Cherry and Tomorrow Never Came on the same album.

Imagine this new record has two parts...

The first includes the three singles, and is more of the stuff she has experienced throughout the last 18 months of her life (as she put it). Relationships, family, friends.
 

Then there’s an interlude... a musical break with beautiful and grand instrumentals, then you hear loud thunder noises...

 

This then leads into the second half of the album, Thunder starts playing, and that half is about her revenge and opinion on the media recently.

"Thunder" to me sounds like a very promising draft of a song. It lacks a certain oomph but it could be reworked into something truly beautiful. That said, reworking a song doesn't always translate into a superior quality. In any case, I'm interested in seeing how it will fit with the rest of the songs on the tracklist and how it will communicate with the three new singles.

thunder sounds like a sarcastic song for the apocalypse so naturally i love it yes yes. are the versions on yt a bit slower or was it always that tempo?

Thunder will obviously be going on one of the three-part albums. It’ll be listed next to Textbook and the rest of the TLSP collaborations feat. Alex Turner

I love Thunder and it goes so well with Text Book sonically! As others have pointed out, the lovely background vocalists who were also on Summertime and Text Book sing on it, so if she features them prominently throughout the album, it would add a very soulful touch and almost serve as a little motif.
