Honestly, that's how it starts now, though. They come out "doing the Lord's work," and then they do the snippet bullshit to keep the attention. And it's also because the unreleased songs lOsE tHeIr TrAdE vAluE when they officially leak.

Even if a good deal of us don't give a shit about snippets, they got enough people on here witless enough to keep begging. If each snippet leak got radio silence from the entire forum, you'd see how fast the tune would change.

Eh I'm being idealistic there. At this rate I'm only excited for what Lana's officially dropping. The leakers haven't been here for the music for a minute.

They way I have interpreted it is that Lana is on Lithium (or other medication) against depression and that's what a doctor ("they") has told her, basically her current state of mind isn't fit to carry a child.

i was hesitant to speculate bc i thought my thinking was super specific and filtered thru my own experiences with mental illness and bc i don't know if lithium in wfwf is literal or an allusion to nirvana's music but yeah, sometimes u have to choose between medication and pregnancy bc certain medications (including lithium) increase risks during pregnancy and u wouldn't be able to continue taking them
