Will all you love the new album regardless of how it actually sounds? It seems almost everyone has prepped themselves for that inevitability.

I always love what Lana does tbh. I will love this album but it is just a matter of how much will I listen to it after a few months.

Do you guys think when the album is released, SOTB will be dethroned from her first popular track?

it will be dethroned by SS in like one week

and also for giving me Margaret

I'm glad to hear that. I generally acknowledge my own intuition and not get my hopes up too much. Generally, I also like 80% or more of her releases.

Well, don’t underestimate LanaBoards for hating the « new Lana sound » :thumb3:

seriously, all I want is bigger production and the title track is already giving me that :godlaugh:

while Blue Banisters is my least favorite album of Lana’s music-wise, it’s without a doubt her best lyrically; the songs read like poetry

I'm better with you, It's strange, but it's true, darling

Not to turn into a wildfire
To light up your night
With only my smile and nothing that burns
I'll be like a wildflower
I live on sheer willpower
I'll do my best never to turn into something
That burns like the others

makes me very excited for the writing on this album (and also very sad about Behind the Iron Gates)

UGH whenever i think about behind the iron gates i get so upset :poordat: i love violet and i love poetry in general. i really thought her new collection would be coming soon but now we have no idea when it’s going to be finished. there’s also so many poems that are lost forever…:krylie:

Do we know who is Benji, one of the producers of the album?

Benji Lysaght! he’s played guitar on California, Thunder, and Black Bathing Suit, and then did some of the synths/sound effects on the Ocean Blvd title track, but I couldn’t find a producer credit for him anywhere so it looks like this will be his first time producing

I think a lot of people may be disappointed if expectations are too high, regardless of what BOZ and HMs have said. I hope for the best, but since I don't care for the single, I'm staying cautious.

I'm happy that we are gonna have this album on March but I'm sad that it will never top Ultraviolence

These comments are so exhausting.

so before march 10 we need:

- an interview teasing lyrics or a song title

- album trailer

- another single

- a music video

- tracklist leaked

When she released Honeymoon, but she sure hasn't released anything remotely close to those two albums since. We know.
