Ocean Boulevard 39,102 Posted April 26 The way I was like eww wtf when she announced it and now I am so hyped and here for Lasso, desperate for news and fully ready to enter my country lassonita yehaw era And that for sure relates to some of us, the impact she has Henryyy come ooooon 14 Quote Swan Song. It’s on my album Honeymoon. It’s the antithesis of hopefulness. It’s about trying to find beauty in giving up. If I had my way, I would continue to persist in all areas of my life, but it can be quite challenging because I can be too trusting too soon."

barttttender 3,124 Posted April 27 7 hours ago, NikoGo said: When I say “bop” I mean OTTR/National Anthem, Diet Mountain Dew, Doin’ Time, HBTB, and Jimmy. Even Without You, a piano ballad, has SO much added production that it feels almost like a bop. I do think her albums have ‘bops’ (FIILY, TJF, Peppers, Taco truck) but they’re more chill bops, and while I absolutely can get down to them, its pretty clear they aren’t the traditional definition of ‘bop’. Cinnamon Girl with Doin’ Time energy would have serveddd. That last minute of CG is so insanely good I have no idea why it was just an outro. I think we’ll absolutely get more Lana chill bops! I think a country song with Doin Time energy would be a SERVE, but like I said, I think it’s silly to expect that because Jimmy was 5 years old and she didn’t even want to include it in the album, so that’s not what she gravitates towards releasing for sure. In the two days at coachella, she played, what, jimmy, summertime, doin' time and west coast. Like, 4 bops in a 15 track setlist. She's over making bops, and she's over singing them. She seems to be firmly in her "sad girl" era. still, i'm hoping she and jack will have one day in the studio where they're NOT feeling miserable and are just fucking around like when they did Jimmy and, magically, a bop will materialize. If it doesn't, and it's another collection of Sweets, I'll be fucking livid.

Like, we know you can make sad minimalist songs with just you and the piano, gurl. Give us at least another "Love" if you can't put together a "Doin' Time"

Make your guess, I think it's either track 2 or 7 Looking statistically at Lana’s past albums for my predictions (and assuming Lasso will be around 12 tracks, that number just feels right to me) - 2 & 4 will be the average fan favourite (often single material) and 6 & 11 will be the true stan favourite (deep cuts made popular by fan listening) 1, 3, 7, & 12 will either be major hits or major misses. 9 & 10 will be growers/underrated. Fans will either absolutely love or absolutely hate 5. 8 will likely be a skip for most. Going off of absolutely nothing but average track rankings for her albums… My personal early ranking prediction is: 6, 3, 11, 10, 7, 9, 5, 1, 8, 12, 4, 2 Average fan/LB member ranking will be: 3, 4, 2, 6, 10, 11, 5, 1, 9, 8, 12, 7 See u all on release day to compare these to the actual results xx 21 Quote • 4.18.14 • 5.1.14 • 9.20.14 • 5.28.15 • 6.14.15 • 7.28.16 • 7.24.17 • 10.23.17 • 10.24.17 • 1.25.18 • 2.5.18 • 12.5.18 • 10.3.19 • 10.11.19 • 11.16.19 • SF • ATL • ATL • IND • ATL • CHI • LDN • NYC • NYC • DC • ATL • NYC • PDX • SAN • KS

themusicbizisGONEgoingcountry 4,642 Posted April 27 Not a chance Lasso is scrapped after hearing her twangy accent last night at Stage Coach hopefully she has a short, tight rollout planned which could begin in June (or as soon as May) and full album out in September.
