Still can't believe she is HEADLINING a country music festival with no country songs  I know her music has a lot of Americana vibes and a bit of folk but this is wild. I'm curious if her team told Stagecoach she'd be coming off the release of a country album in September, and they booked her based on that - only for Lasso to never drop. It's hard to imagine Stagecoach reached out to her over country artists first.

I am wondering how this concert is going to go down as well. That said, when I look at the full lineup for Stagecoach there are some other artists that I would never associate with country or folk music; Backstreet Boys, Goo Goo Dolls, Nelly (who did release a country cross-over a decade ago) and T-Pain. None of those acts have ever released a country or folk album to my knowledge.

Does anyone know if Stagecoach is streamed live?

I don't know, she feels kinda a right person (no pun intended) for the festival.

 

She has attended it as a guest earlier before as well, in 2024 when she sang Unchained Melody and also in 2023 or 2022 when she sang Breaking Up Slowly with Nikki Lane there (or it was probably another festival? I also remember Lana was there with Diplo - and he isn't a country musician either).

 

Her current music feels right for this festival. I imagine she's going to sing bunch of covers there and probably have Nikki and Sierra has guests.

May 21 is almost two years after May 19, 2023 - the date SYTH was released, her most successful song of the last two years. Maybe she believes in the good fortune of this date, or maybe it's a sign that she put the song on the tracklist.
