I love I Can Fly!! Like the chorus is the best part. Big Eyes' breakdown was the best part of that song. I Can Fly, the best part to me is "

"You had me caged up like a bird in mid-summer

For some reason that melody right there had me swaying slowly. I also love the beat more than Big Eyes.  Big Eyes is more relate-able though.

I love Big Eyes and i think ICF is an ok-song, too. But the lyrics. .. they are overrated! It's like Lana was asleep for some big parts of the movie and just caught a garden scene, set in the summer, where he lurks around and wears a cotton shirt while she is painting

Both songs are ok, but I simply don't understand why she choses to let them fall flat during the chorus. Pretty straight-forward and once again no interesting bridges, tempo changes etc.

 

But hell, these are just for soundtracks. I really hope she manages to get more shifts and layers with her upcoming material. These simple choruses that are so present on UV just leave me behind with a feeling that something is missing.
