Tbh I don’t know what I would discuss in that hypothetical thread that I don’t already discuss elsewhere, so I probably wouldn’t visit it much anyway? I could see other perks like larger pfp size or something so I can grace you all with a high res pinky asf. I personally don't care (especially about restricted threads cause they'd be dry as hell), but I feel like most of these ideas will just result in people getting annoyed and visiting this site less often. Same goes for restricted threads for members with a certain amount of reputation points or whatever. I feel like if new users not that familiar with this community saw this site had restricted threads for new members and perks for paying members they would just leave, cause why would they stay on a site that has aspects that annoy them lol. These concepts might work for now in terms of getting more donations and having certain parts of this site protected from potential trolls but they just seem bad for the long run. also, regarding preventing trolls from accessing this site, i think they're going to find their way in regardless of what we do, if the scat troll's been able to evade their i.p ban for several years & has continiously found ways to post scat at a time where they won't be immediately banned (i've noticed that they post when there's no mods online, usually during the late night) they're obviously pretty dedicated to finding a way to successfully troll, we could put restrictions for new members, such as only being able to access certain parts of the website if you have a certain amount of repuation points (which, again, i disagree with) but it's going to be exclusionary for literally everybody else who isn't a troll, it's like punishing the entire class because of the actions of one misbehaving kid, it's not really fair to restrict any new members, who's first impressions of the site are pretty vital in their decision to stick around, just because somebody comes here once in a blue moon & posts shit porn, obviously it's something we all dislike & we should try to prevent, but there's only so much we can do without making it more difficult for everybody else who just wants to enjoy the website & what it brings 6 Quote Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
