American Whore 51,673 Posted January 18, 2021 I just realized the point of the "facing time again on riker's island again" lyrics is referring to being locked down in a relationship that she won't allow herself out of-- because she's crazy, she loves him forever not maybe 2 Quote if i fuck this model and she just bleached her asshole and i get bleach on my t-shirt, imma feel like an asshole

One of her best. I know this is 4 years old but what song is BTTB? 1 Quote "Don’t forget me"

Venice 6,933 Posted June 1, 2021 Every time I come back to this song I'm amazed by the production It was actually the first time I even truly noticed "production" in a song back in the day

I’m usually good at guessing acronyms but I was drawing a compete blank On topic: this song is a completely and absolute masterpiece. This is the song that started my love of Lana and her world the lyrics are phenomenal (and also the only song that Lana has ever said ‘sorry’ in (and she doesn’t even mean it in this song )) the production is out of the world the demos are also amazing 100/10 6 Quote "Don’t forget me"
Super Movie 51,860 Posted June 1, 2021 I know a lot of people consider this song to be overhyped, but I really think it's worth the hype - it is genuinely an astonishing song. The production itself is enough to make it incredible, but then you take into account the lyrical storytelling + the way Lana delivers her vocals on this song (which yes, baby voice, but I think it was somewhat in an intentional way because of what the song is about). It's a genius song and I will die on the hill that it deserved a video

BluebirdXO 7,679 Posted June 2, 2021 This song is a movie being told by words. For me, this is one of her best songwriting skills. I never heard anything that hits close to this masterpiece
Churchome Rep 3,383 Posted June 2, 2021 An iconic song. Should be considered an all-time great/must-listen/masterpiece in the history books of pop music. The lyrics alone... The tragedy is that she never really did another song like this, and I’m surprised nobody else even tried to do their version of it. Everybody did either a Video Games or Born to Die influenced song. Guess that’s what makes it so legendary.
