sunshine kitty came out in september followed by two singles in january and one in march for the deluxe which came out in may, that's 8 months, she just finished the US tour couple weeks ago and she has probably been in the studio the last few weeks likely continuing into april, she has a lot of festival dates in the summer so i imagine the deluxe will come out in may/june to give the album a boost before all that... so let's wait for the meltdowns!

Rick's production is just a breath of fresh air to be honest. He mixes Lana's vocals better than any other producer in my opinion. It keeps her voice as the main attention-grabber but still supports it with lush instrumentation. It actually suits her vocals and sounds intentional (looking at U drew)
(Which regardless of how good Lana's improvised sections are on recent records, is true. Rick takes his time, he doesn't just throw together a beat and have Lana sing on top of it)

YouTube rip or new recording/rework, people would have complained either way. I’m feeling optimistic about a new version, especially with Rick and Dean involved.

All of them got pushed back to late July/early August, which is probably why she moved to just drop it on Valentine's Day rather than tour and wait half a year for the vinyls to finally arrive.
