This thread and the unpopular opinions thread are the two that I find to be filled with the most misogyny on this site. A lot of people say things about Lana (and even other women) that are just so harmful. People tend to think that because Lana's famous, they can say whatever they want about her as if she isn't an actual person. Claiming something as an opinion doesn't take away from how messed up it is. Not only that, but a lot of Lana fans tend to think they know her way better than they actually do. Like, she's not your best friend, she's a singer whose music you listen to

I really don’t like the idea of restricting content or abilities between paying and non paying members. we should all be able to have the same site/user experience regardless of member status  this is a relatively close knit fan community and I think locking things behind a paywall would be very unfair and upsetting 
 
also yeah a NSFW section, maybe locked/unlocked based on your birthday (not that that would really stop people but just for legal liability), and threads from this section do not show up in the recently updated section. but then again I ask myself, is this really necessary lmfao it’s a Lana fan site…. Just go on Twitter if you wanna discuss that

U guys don’t even understandddd I’m losing my mind. I’m already a bit delirious because I only slept 4 hours last night since I had a 5:30am call time for filming today, so when I got the notification, I had to do a double take! What a wonderful way to pick up a long, exhausting day. Seriously, these small little moments make my entire world. I’ll never take it for granted. I love her so much
 

???!? Ben was the one who managed her long before she even signed to a record label, he’s the one who’s gotten her every opportunity this far, mans made her a main pop girlie in a matter of a few years, he’s super capable of elevating her further and he’s pretty amazing at what he does

if i hated it like 'beautiful' u guys would know i love sirens - it's moody and meditative and introspective and has some of her most perceptive lyrics imo. it also reminds me a lot of elliott smith's 'either/or'. think it's one of those albums that if u need it, it's urs, but it's def not for everyone obv

That post makes me smile and reminds me of why we feel so connected to someone who doesn’t know we exist, but is there in spirit. 
 
She is so right — it can be a lonely road when other people express their negative projections onto someone who prioritizes being embodied and striving to meet themselves, but ultimately the way you live your life and how you treat people is a work of art in itself and I believe everyone is an artist.

I still think she doesn't get enough credit for her songwriting. Like, over the last 3 years we've had some amazing albums and multiple career highs. And she seems to only be getting better with Blue Banisters and Watercolor Eyes!
 
If you look at the amount of music we've gotten in just over 2 years, and the quality overall. There's nobody else doing it like her and she doesn't seem to be stopping anytime soon...
 
I wouldn't be surprised if we get more new music throughout this year and personally I can't wait.
