I love the album cover, it's simple but effective. The CD design is amazing too. Can't wait for this.
It's a shame she is releasing this at the end of summer when this era is screaming summer vibe all over the place. Should have released it end of this month or early July.

I wanna talk about our release day memories! What was everyone doing when they first heard the album?
I downloaded it on my phone on some sketchy mp3 app, and listened to it back-to-back on my bed. I literally just sat there in awe! Cruel world was an instant fave, and so was Sad Girl And it was a life changing album for sure. No "I need to listen to it again", no "I need more time with it", just instant fave.

And seamless transitions like freak/art deco.. ugh, a girl can dream 

She did say she's folk, she's jazz, she's blue, she's green

Honestly, I'm happy that she's not rushing "Lasso". I wouldn't be mad if we get a 2025 release. Everyone and their mothers are releasing music this year like it's the end of the world, I wouldn't like her album getting lost in the shuffle.
 
 
 

idk I choose to be delusional in thinking it’s coming this year. She really says whatever tf she wants and that whole video is a prime example. Plus she told Elle it was coming this year like 2 weeks ago. When that interviewer asked about the album coming this year she didn’t correct him and say it was delayed so I think maybe she just misunderstood his question or something. I’m a lasso September/October truther and that’ll never change

I checked under my foreskin for any lasso tracks and there's a romantic country slow dance waltz banger that I'm sure will be played at many a prom or homecoming or weddings. Wonderful tune. Bit wistful. Certifiably a ldr track but it feels old timey

Also, I know I'll be the only one but I'm growing a little tired of her hostility towards random accounts asserting that she grew up rich or privileged. The original post she commented on was indeed stupid, but if she feels that strongly about it maybe she should be candid about her childhood, because even the few times she's actually "addressed" it, she's still been very vague.
 
I think she's not being honest with herself. There's nothing wrong growing up privileged (rich or not). She clearly had opportunities. Not just any of us were running around bumping shoulders with Lindsay Lohan as a pre-teen. I don't know why she feels the need for us to know she has suffered. I know her family situation was not ideal and she didn't feel love, but that's a completely different discussion IMO.

I didn't know where exactly to post this, but I went to the mall today to get skincare products and I saw this clothing shop which had a very interesting name!!!!!!! I decided to go full delulu mode and take it as a sign that Lasso will be coming out soon *manifesting*

also, the video is cool af. Just billie being cute and fucking around. No big budget, no 3 min dialogue rubbish intro (looking at your charlie xcx)... a simple throwack to late 80s/90s MTV shit that presents the song as fun and vibey, which it is

This and Eternal Sunshine are the top 2 releases of the year so far, it’s hard to decide which one is #1

Wildflower is just so beautiful... it reminds me of the ride home after a day at the beach (but like a sad ride home?)
