It’s honestly too sad. Too much hatred in the world. 

They’re saying pretty mean things like “tw//lana del ray”, “This made me jump”, “she is so hard to look at”, “she’s so ugly” (these last two are from people with Nicki Minaj profile pics so it sucks that Nicki’s fans are doing this), “I know she did not use her busted ass face as a reaction pic”, “spoiled milk”, “white women are the devil”, etc. 
 
...it’s dehumanizing and rude and I can’t believe people tear other people down who are just living their life. They preach about kindness on Twitter but then immediately go and do this

Was it even funny to begin with? People breaking their arms reaching trying to tear Lana down at this particular point.

I feel like this album will have a similar sound/vibe to Cat Power’s second cover album “Jukebox”. That one’s mostly Americana songs and it has a really nice bluesy atmosphere to it.
 
It’d be cool if like that album, Lana also re-recorded one of her most famous songs in the style of the album and/or had a new song she wrote just for it, sandwiched between a bunch of classics, subtly inserting herself into the great american songbook and becoming a part of history.

I have faith that she’ll come through for Christmas. It’s not like she was happy about the delay of Chemtrails, and I think she really enjoys making music with her friends so I do think she’ll put out the covers record for Christmas! 

I’m so excited! I loved when Lana referenced Patsy Cline’s “I Fall to Pieces” on Cherry so I hope that’s one of the Patsy songs she’s covering!  this record is going to be so amazing!

I’m excited tbh! We’re getting more music from Lana than we expected and that’s always something to celebrate! 
 
I think at this point, we can just rule out the possibility of Lana releasing an album in a season that isn’t summer, though  excited for the record and the videos and singles to come!
