i feel so bad for her no artist deserves this ruining their rollout
 
im sure she has some amazing songs on this album and she seemed really excited to release so i hope it doesnt get scrapped.
im rooting for her so hard and ready just like through Troubled Paradise to support her cd, vinyl, merch and tour and i know many other fans are too.
 

some of you are vile. stop leaking her music that is literally planned for release & that she's currently fighting to even get it out atp because of the leaks. it's not even funny it's awfully sad. did no one learn from xcx world?

please avoid listening to/sharing/reposting any upcoming material as they have surfaced in the last 24 hours due to some unfortunate a*esha e*otica stan who has major psychological problems, catherine is aware and is going to continue the rollout as planned but any more leaks could face legal action

Aren't her and Lana Del Rey both signed to Interscope? Maybe after the success of Say Yes To Heaven they're considering releasing some unreleased Lady Gaga material whilst she's not making new music?
 
They gained a lot of success and momentum from Bloody Mary that I'm sure the label don't wanna lose whilst she goes back into acting.
 
I think this could be a common thing now that Taylor Swift (with The Vault tracks and All Of The Girls You Loved Before) and Lana Del Rey have released leaked/unreleased material officially and it's been a success!

No, but seriously... I get it, I know you can't be pleased with everything she does, but if every single thing she does makes you so miserable to the point where the only thing you can do is complain... 
Maybe it's time to accept Lana is not for you anymore and move on

Blows my mind that we went through the last 4 years of the most unconventional anti-pop sounding albums for people to say Lana isn’t unique anymore

Lana is like the only truly unique artist left at this point

I don’t think she stopped being unique.. probsbly more so.. there are no other albums currently on the market like OB.. and you could’ve said that about BTD at the time it was released too as it was ahead of it’s time 
 
SYTH isn’t unique by any stretch, it’s got sweet and simple lyrics with a pretty melody.. and so so many other female artists currently. I am very much probably the minority who thinks her songwriting has only gotten better over the years, it’s deeper and one thing I love about music is being able to delve in and explore it and it not being so obvious from the surface! 
 
its not to say I don’t think her early lyricism isn’t great either, I think video games was phenomenal in the sense it was highly visual and so lovely.. and I love nectar of the gods which is so simple.. but when I think of her best work.. it doesn’t spring to mind nectar of the gods.. nor will it be SYTH
 
Just the same as legendary acts though.. it’s never their big hit that is my favourite song

I think she never wanted to boost anything with the Candy Necklace MV, she did it for artistic reasons, for the closer fans and because the song has a special meaning to her

A thing that confuses me a lot is when people insist that Lana had a persona in the start of her career. I think that she never had a persona to begin with. She was always herself and she chose clothing , certain aesthetics and hairstyles to just perfect her vision. All of these aspects are part of being a visionary and an artist. Her ability to combine her craft with visuals so masterfully is what made her stand out among other artists of her generation. Admitting she had a persona is like doubting a part of her artistic vision imo.
 
CN'S mv made me think of that even more. She was always true to herself even when people believed the opposite, even when people called her superficial for just choosing a specific way to portray her art.

SYTH is far from my favorite track but I don't get why would anyone complain about her putting out music. And even if the label "pressured" her to release it, she had the last word as always so it's her decision too (and she chose the version she wanted anyway).
 
Let's just enjoy the music (or not if you don't like it, taste is subjective and luckily she releases almost yearly so there's something for everyone
