I don’t have the words to describe how much I have been enjoying the record. She really did what she had to do with every single song. Masterpiece.

France was good, the rest was sone of the most bland amd boring rip-off acts I have ever heard.

I really wonder how these bleak tracks can induceany feelings beyond indifference in anyone.
And why do they all think that screaming equals emotion.

Also, not Lana promoting the worst act of the evening because of Ed & Ben ...

A lady offering lana the choice between the blonde wig (Lana staying true to herself and being Lizzy) and the red wig (Lana choosing Hollywood - like all the other stars did in the video)... the difference is she realizes "..you've (hollywood) been bringing me down", along with whoever she's singing about.. She chose to show every important aspect of her career in one video now I 100% understand the "where do we go from here" comment she made

Lana asking "Do you like it?" to someone "behind the scenes" as she looks at the red wig in the MV is so genius, it mirrors the behind the scenes people in the music industry that convinced her to make choices she didn't want to make. She was convinced and since she had a good heart she believed them, like all the other Hollywood starlets. But where did they end up? Dead in a box. Lana is saying NO not me and tbh as she should

I’ve seen the video a few times now. It really is fucking amazing, one of her best. Definitely the best concept she’s had for a video, love the footage, LOVE the broken up song with all the extra piano segments. It’s really next level video making. This era creatively is so good.

The “bts” shots some of you keep talking about aren’t really “bts” at all.. they’re just apart of the music video.. you’re just looking at it incorrectly

Enough time has passed, this shoot actually sucks.
I honestly can't name a more boring Lana shoot... it really gives absolutely nothing

I must say, the album is really growing on me beautifully. I loved it at first listen but didn't think I would come back to it, especially certain tracks that didn't have much replay value but honestly songs such as The Grants, Sweet, Grandfather etc are so well constructed it's actually so impressive. I've been stuck listening to the album as a whole for a few days now and I truly think it's some of her best work. Title track is probably one of the best song she ever made, the imagery, the different metaphorical layers behind this mysterious tunnel (her career, her past relationships, the misogyny she faced) the beautiful post NFR instrumental... She put everything she is and what she has to offer to the world as an artist in this record and it's so beautiful to see. Can't wait to dig more and more into it.

the title track is top 10 in her discography for me, i literally have no words for how much emotion and subtlety there is in every single note it contains. never in her discography have i seen such a beautiful instrumental build-up. the melody and the lyrics are magnificent. it’s one of her strongest songs and to me it’s really unique because of the vocals, the backup singers and the lyrics… i mean even after her vocals end and there’s only the instrumental, it’s still so strong and moving…
