Anyone else occasionally long for the old days when we would have total control over how we organise Lana's music through iTunes?
 
Noticed a few weird things with her Spotify catalogue lately:
 
The album art for Lust For Life, Ultraviolence and Paradise EP have the explicit material logo in the corner, even though it's not needed on streaming services and none of her other album covers have it on Spotify? Weird. There's no need for the standard edition of BTD to be there? (TBH, there's no need for the Deluxe version or standalone Paradise EP either, we have BTD: Paradise Edition) Label should really have taken down the old version of BTD: Paradise Edition when the new "Special" one with Burning Desire was added Paradise artwork is more saturated than that of BTD: Paradise Edition and it's very irritating I wish NFR had the explicit artwork, I can't see Spotify having a problem with that if they're not censoring the album title? Tropico EP isn't there  
Really wish some of this stuff could be cleaned up by her label. And in an ideal world, that Is This Happiness and Flipside get added to Ultraviolence (Deluxe) whenever the exclusivity period is up.

Could anyone tell me where the Sirens artwork originated from? Did it leak alongside the album? Also, I've seen a few variations on filter/typeface, which is the 'original'?

At this point, I'm thinking the album *might* be delayed, if only because there's been no date announcement from the label or anything, just Lana herself. And as much as I love her, I do NOT trust that girl when it comes to dates (PTSD from Tropico and Violet).
 
That said, if it does get delayed, I don't think it'll be by more than a month at most.

If she pulls a Taylor and releases a vinyl and CD for every track on the album...

I did too. The fact that it's not listed as a bundle on the official storefront makes me wonder what it actually is. If it ends up being a cream and possibly another color cassette, then the rarity will make ordering it worth it. If they send me 2 damn cream-colored cassettes, I'll be pissed. Since I wanted an orange vinyl and at this point I can assume it's not happening, I can only hope for an orange cassette edition. So I have officially ordered every single version available of Violet... I have an addiction to LDR

The thirsty side of me hopes that there'll be another handsome man on the Chemtrails cover ... I enjoyed Duke Nicholson on the cover of NFR

I'm fine with just piano ballads, not everything has to be a "bop" all the time. That said, I'm sure there'll be one or two upbeat tracks (well, upbeat by Lana standards).
 
I'd love the album cover to be Lana looking rich af (I'm thinking the National Anthem aesthetic), sitting in a golf cart in front of a fancy ass country club like the one from High School Musical 2. I want there to be vibrant greens and blues.

Violet is though, so maybe we'll see Grammy wins in 2021 and 2022...though it seems likely that she'll be snubbed as usual.

When it comes to new album releases, this is my usual process:
I listen to whatever singles or snippets Lana herself puts out I don't listen to the snippets posted on iTunes/music stores I don't listen to leaks I don't listen to new songs Lana's performed until the song is actually released (such as Cherry) I wait until the album is available in my region on Spotify Once the album comes out, I listen to it the entire way through, including the previously released singles, and in the intended tracklist order. Also, if anyone disturbs me while doing this, they lose limbs.
