I think if she had dropped the title track and drums of death at the same time on streaming it wouldn’t feel a lil disappointing.

I see this song as nothing more then a semi Interlude in the context of the album
I dont think it was a good choice for a single besides the amount of internet attention it was getting

I love ambient instrumentals in general, but we need something more unique than droning sounds. I need a dark vision behind the ambience, which I trust we will get from her!
 
It's definitely good for people to adjust their expectations because this will not be similar to Preacher's Daughter at all

I just started baldurs gate 3 again as a half elf bard let’s hope my crippling perfectionism doesn’t get in the way of actually playing through and enjoying the game this time 

Don’t get me wrong I love ambient music! I listen to it frequently. I just love her voice and melodies so I’m hoping it’s at least a 50/50 split. If we get lots of Punish vibes I’ll be more than happy. I’ve never felt particularly compelled by the ambient stuff she has uploaded, but maybe that’s because they’ve never been on an official release and I didn’t give it a fair try. 
 
And of course she can put out whatever kind of music she is writing and feels passionate about. 

judging by what ppl have said there's 3 ambient tracks and 1 with a long ambient outro, pulldrone 100% feels like one of those
 
because ambient is a genre like any other. i understand that it's not everyone's cup of tea, i also prefer her tracks with lyrics, but i think dismissing it like this is worse than anyone being pretentious

I'm very excited for this album but I can already tell it's gonna create the most unbearably pretentious takes on people not being into ambient music and 10+ minute songs by people that desperately want to come across as cool and highbrow.

Amber Waves - vocals and lyrics, very slowcore and atmospheric 
 
And off we alr have Punish, which does have lyrics, a slow burn but still feels like a song 
 
I feel like there may be another ambient track in the 5 we don’t know about, but there’ll probably be another song that isn’t completely instrumental. 
 
 

The orchestral into to this version of Between Two Lungs is absolutely insanely breathtaking. 

I’ve lost so many friends from this. Politics is once again doing exactly what it sets out to do; divide and conquer. Like a narcissist parent.

He's unhinged and surrounded by repugnant people who will work together to cause harm to the underprivileged and line their own pockets with money and power. Whether or not they will be successful, time will tell, but some people really need to wake up to the reality of the situation. When people tell you exactly who they are, believe them. Trump is without a doubt a vile piece of shit, and he is not afraid to show it. The fact that half the country chose this person to lead them is so beyond bleak and depressing, and America will be judged by the world for decades to come because of it.

It has the same opening chord progression as white mustang but there are like hundreds of songs with that same chord progression. I imagine the fact that it’s played delicately on piano is enough to draw comparisons. It doesn’t really sound much like a Lana song other than that and the fact that the vocals are delicate and sad.

Used to hear a lot about youngsters changing the world for the better only for Gen Z to end up being the biggest bums. How most of y'all are so uninformed and way more brainwashed than boomers? It's alarming to see the amount of young boys endorsing right wing politics. God help us. 

I wish I could say that I'm surprised. I knew better than to have faith in the people of this country because they have proven time and time again that they do not care about anyone but themselves. I don't know what else to say or what else to do.
