Tulsa Jesus Freak is for sure a song. She included white hot forever too so the post is giving me mariners and venice. Hopefully a double release soon

Lana said she was really inspired for this project. Before NFR she didn’t feel inspired at all. Jack would just play cords and she would sing to it. So, it’s save to say it does sound different then NFR. Looking For America might be her starting point for the sound and I love that!!!

I'm still pretty confident she was saying 'Burnt World', which relates to the album artwork and some of the lyrics on NFR. 'Bird World' would've been just as iconic however.

I like White Hot Forever as a song title. As an album’s name, it’s too much Lana, in a way, like something you’d expect from her. Same with Honeymoon or Born to Die: good album names, but not that much of the « wow » factor. Ultraviolence was a punching and intriguing name, Norman Fucking Rockwell was a funny and very original one. Chemtrails Over the Country Club is very mysterious and incredibly poetic : the juxtaposition of leisure and danger, the sound « C » repeated three times... It sounds very thought out.

I feel we're getting something very very very soon. Like... I feel it...

not going to listen to a single Lana song till we have the album. i want my ears to be as open to the experience as possible if that makes sense. idk i just wanna be able to be really surprised when i hear her voice again.

Her albums are way more cohesive and there are barely any filler tracks compared to her contemporaries.. eg LOVER./ Billies album/ Sweetener etc.
 
 
Also there is this anger in her... she needs to let out the steam. I'm pretty sure this is a fuck you album to the music industry. To the double standards and fake shit piece of industry that HOllywood and the entertainment industry is.

She has had such a phenomenal career. Matured so beautifully. I mean she delivers album after album.
 
Even LFL which the community seems to hate..is actually really good. The label probably wanted a more radio friendly album after HM and UV. But the lyrics are really stellar.

an entire album to the blues-y, slow, sexy and dramatic vibe of 'Sad Girl' would be kind of a dream tbh (I know 'Ultraviolence' exists, but 'Sad Girl' is a pretty unique song imho and that bridge is straight fire).
