dream pop shoegaze for the first album, trip hop in the vein of dark but just a game for the second wow i can't wait for these underrated gems 

the atmosphere created with the production and her singing is insane 

Remember how it was said that CoCC didn't come out exactly how Lana was intending (I forget which source said this but I'm sure y'all remember lol it was so recent)? Well, I've been thinking about how she barely did promo for this era (at least imo...) and how pretty much immediately after this release, instead of any post-release promo or talk of anything CoCC-related, she went straight ahead to discussing and promoting the new upcoming album this June. It makes me feel that maybe she isn't truly happy with how this album came out and just wants to move on quickly?? Thoughts?

I experienced something almost impossible to explain last night while listening to Yosemite. I was in the complete darkness, lying in my bed, headphones on and Yosemite in full volume. I felt paralyzed, absolutely frozen, I truly couldn't move nor open my eyes. I was like hypnotized by Yosemite. I think I transcended to another dimention, rised up to a never-seen-before surrounding, a beautiful one, a better one, but sadly it only lasted those five and coins minutes. I will never forget. 

I really wish she'd put "I Talk To Jesus" on this record. Would've fit so beautifully right before or after Breaking Up Slowly, as sort of a side B/part 2 for Tulsa Jesus Freak.

Can we all stop calling a woman mentally instable when she's just exposing her feelings? This screams misogyny
 
I don't agree with her rants and I think that she should put this energy into her music instead of social media, but it's valid. I just wish she had a PR team to post on her professional IG so she could move her rants to a spam account. Or formulate better for the Gods sake. 
 
Even though I have this opinion, her feelings are still valid and real. Artists barely have one original point of view nowadays. Everyone is scared of the backlash from cancel culture

something clearly has been going on for a year now. also she went from saying goodbye to social media to “i’m kinda happy” to “i want revenge”  in 5 days time. 
 
it’s clear she was very nervous about this album reception, and was bracing for bad news. but why drudge up 2 month old article a day after the album release? that article didn’t even mention cocc, wtf is she going on about? 
 
i hope she’s getting help for the demons she’s clearly fighting. i hope those around here realize she’s hurting.

wait AGAIN... she said she was bummed her and jack couldn’t finish chemtrails since he wasn’t there which leads me to think:
 
1) that’s the reason why she went with zach to make dealer and the cover album and this one since he was available (maybe rick too if we’re THAT lucky)
 
2) most importantly if jack wasn’t there to finish chemtrails...that also means he can’t possible be there to start rock candy...WE’VE FINALKY GOTTEN RID OF HIM
