Not knowing anything about the album (only the title and a couple of song names) makes me nervous and excited. Lana said it will be similar to NFR but we know how Lana likes to change everything at the last minute so...

this era is so different than anything we’ve had, we heard the first song from NFR before we even knew NFR was a thing now we’re not gonna hear anything at all either by this week or until release

This is gonna be Honeymoon but less haze more nautica
I think like the records vibes will mirror high by the beach’s photoshoot

Imagine Emile Haynie & Lana would make a song in the vein of Wait for Life for COCC

We can only hope... I just don't want it to be all Antonoff... Maybe a couple tracks form Rick or even Emile Haynie 

my heart sank when the NFR tracklist dropped and i already heard like every song. 
 
i am liking this approach from lana this time around, tho i am getting a little antsy. lemme hear something ma'am! 
 
and not to be pessimistic but after being underwhelmed by nfr in virtually every aspect, my expectations are relatively low for this project. but hopefully/probably she will surprise me. 

i am so ready for COCC at this point if its delayed im gonna be so mad MAC and VB are almost 2 years old at this point, i am ready for a new era! and hopefully one that doesnt stretch out over an entire year with a single every 5 months or so with no album in sight

Yes to both of these!  
This release is way more smooth and mellow. Minus the obvious “controversies” which I think add a bit of flavor honestly.
 
This really does remind me of Honeymoon prerelease in a sense. Just like this chill, warm, and fuzzy feeling. Idk lol! Now we just need a single. That said though I wouldn’t mind her not dropping anything before the release. Just give us the cover and the track list is all I ask!

Maybe this is why NFR might have been a letdown for some: MAC, VB, the greatest, FIILY are all stellar tracks with a lot of production but kinda felt « old » when the album finally saw the light of day. Same with Doin Time. And the snippets gave away way too much.
 
We’re likely to hear a single before the release, maybe two (though I doubt it) And I love it.

There definitely is something quite peaceful about the COCC era and I think it's because Lana gave us a solid date and we all stuck by that. Like there's no one having to spam her manager's Instagram for a date, there's nothing to be entirely unsure of, like if it's delayed or something.
 
Also Lana has been keeping a tight lip on the sound of COCC and hasn't given us any snippets so there's only so much discussion we can have, but it's nice this way.

also, one thing we can appreciate if it does come out in september is one of the kind of most disappointing points of NFR was having the singles stretched over such a long period of time. i can’t imagine how hard that album must hit hearing it for the first time as one.

I honestly prefer this era, as quiet as it is, to the NFR mess.

constructive criticism is fine but this "article" was like 5 paragraphs long and didn't even go in depth...just as i thought, trash!

lana stans trolled the author of that article's twitter and she blocked over 100 of us and went private

She said the album is coming in September and gave us an exact date, and her website’s code refers to it as a 2020 release. That ATRL insider also has their hands on the album, so it’s definitely coming. No need to set yourself up for disappointment! it’s coming for sure!

I think the clip was the instrumental of Quiet Waiter Blue Forever put over her singing the new track. Clearly she's mouthing lyrics
