maybe i'm just pmsing but the footage of Lana with her family as a child made me cry

The video is beautiful and the song is heavenly. I cried. Lana has the most beautiful voice and I know that’s what drew us all to her in the first place. Always happy that she’s still making music. And glad Rob can find a way to express himself musically as well. He’s not the best piano player ever but I still find his work very lovely and sentimental. 🥰

This video was really cute, it’s nice to see such a sweet father daughter relationship between them 

Why is this video making me cry???  I love that after so much heartbreak, her last couple of albums and this one are about family love, her friends, and self love. So sweet and pure. 

I think it was a great set. 
lana will never be able to please everyone since she has so many songs already and so many won’t be played / sung very often live (too wordy, too slow…)
when she sings live, I always look for the song she never sang live before and I’m almost never disappointed. Flipside being recognized : 🤯 
also: a couple of tracks from OB… I’m shocked. 

I agree. I always liked that song. But not on a set list where there's no West Coat, Doin' Time, High by the Beach, Love, FIILY, and so many other songs people worship.

I know she’s not the most extroverted, but honestly watching the start so far, she belongs on stage. It’s been so long and the crowd seems so respectful and entranced.

the only thing that would've made the video better is if Lana actually got a star on the Walk of Fame and used that footage in the video 

This is Veronica Lake doing for promo for “I Married A Witch”, Lana’s white outfit is very similar. So I definitely think it was a hommage or referencing Veronica Lake.
 
Veronica Lake was born Constance Ockelman and changed her name when she came to Hollywood. She was known for blonde wavy hair and her style became very popular in the 40s. She struggled with alcoholism and while she didn’t die, her addiction did have to do with her leaving Hollywood to find recovery.
 
again many similarities to Lana’s story.

i think the necklaces represent each of the women before her who had tragic endings. her not wearing one might represent her breaking the cycle

Definitely more of a short film to me as well! I wish it would have been even longer and maybe would have included another song. 
 
I don't think it's supposed to be the afterlife. I see it as a different reality. The death scene is a what could have happened scenario while the walk of fame scenw is reality with Lana doing well.
 
Veronice Lake. She was a famous 40s actress who died fairly young because of alcohol abuse. She was treated awfully during her career, was called a bitch etc. but today we know she was diagnosed with schizophrenia and would have needed help instead of judgement.
