Text Book, Wildflower Wildfire, Blue Banisters, Arcadia, The Trio, Sweet Carolina, Black Bathing Suit, Beautiful and Violets for Roses are new songs. She literally started writing and recording them last fall and completed the recording sessions in June. She reworked Thunder a lot, as well as Living Legend - albeit to a lesser extent - according to insiders. Erickson is credited as a co-writer of If You Lie Down With Me which means that the song must have been heavily reworked for the new album. How is this lazy? She scrapped some songs she wrote with Antonoff last year. We're not even sure if she reworked the likes of Cherry Blossom and Nectar of the Gods - and even Dealer - or not because it seems that the insiders have had access to an earlier version of the album and haven't even listened to songs such as Black Bathing Suit (at the very least; I wouldn't be surprised if they haven't listened to some of the other new tracks as well). This is the second album she is about to release this year, merely 7 months after Chemtrails. She'll have released 8 studio albums by the end of the year. In less than a decade. The first singles off Blue Banisters showcase sophisticated and elegant writing and instrumentals; a departure from Chemtrails and NFR in several ways. And this does feel like Lana at her most intimate. 
 
I don't know what else she's supposed to do in order to please some of you at this point. I keep reading posts that constantly reek of negativity - borderline toxicity at this point - on nearly every single thread even for completely random reasons. Why is everyone being triggered so easily? Why do people keep dragging her claiming that she's been burned out/lazy/an elitist/hypocrite? It's exhausting. I'm signing off.

ever since the UV album trailer ive been obsessed w them. we NEED it LANA! 

when there's a mysterious .zip file on that website and it's just filled with audio files of "boom like that" at full volume
 

It's really interesting how her whole career before this album was based on "daddy issues" and whatnot, at least that's how she was always perceived by the critics due to the lyrics in her songs, yet in the opening track on this record she says "i guess you could call it text book, i was looking for the father i wanted back" - and then proceeds to change the narrative of her story by explaning her mother issues, her very real issues behind the aesthetically pleasing curtain, and then on the final track she sings with her father and is strong enough to confront the real cause of her pain throughout the years

I don't know if she would perform Text Book or Wildflower Wildfire, but I do see her performing Arcadia and Blue Banisters 

Sheridan was filming from a recording studio…do we think there’s a live performance in the style of LMLYLAW coming soon? Or maybe a music video that has lip-synching scenes in a studio? I cant see why else he would be down at the studio with Lana (unless he was just there to listen to new material, but I feel like he’s definitely teasing a new visual)!

omg imagine the meltdowns if she did a live performance of Dealer with Miles Kane on Live Lounge or something. I would honestly be really interested to see how it would turn out lol

Part of the reason I'm so much more excited about this era than I was Chemtrails is because Lana seems so happy with the album. In every post she's made about it, you can tell she's proud of it and is excited to share it. And I think that makes me just as excited to hear it

"To my knowledge they are untouched (maybe just remastered a bit), but I have no explanation to why Rick Nowels suddenly has credit on Cherry Blossom, he never had it on my side, so maybe he ended up doing something on it that I just missed and the song is reworked? Probably not tho and Lana just randomly remembered that the song first became an idea during session with Rick and decided to credit him. Really not sure on that."

Now I'm even more excited about the middle part of the album cause that interlude has to mean something big is coming after. If it was just for "shock" value or for the MV it wouldn't have made its way into the tracklist.

so if fabirizio isn’t credited but rick is could mean rick only wrote it along lana. but if it had the same piano production fabrizio would still be credited. which means the production is definitely not the same WE WON SO HARD
