I’ve had such a good feeling about LDR9, and these recent posts are just reinforcing my hype. LDR9 is coming to dethrone

wtf are you talking about… your comments make it clear to me that you don’t consider mental illness an issue. she needs help, and making fun of her is just inappropriate. I’m not defending this woman’s behavior, but i think it’s best if we stop talking about this

it's not even been 6 months since her last album and already it feel like we are in another pre release era 

I hope she ditches the “everything’s done in one take” thing and records her vocals a couple of times cause some of the vocal moments on Blue Banisters were just very unpleasent to listen to. That rougher unpolished sound only works in her lower register tbh, an off key falsetto is Not cute. It doesn’t give the music a more real sound, it just makes it sound bad.

Assuming she’s not trolling, I hope that things get better for her; people rarely have much control over that level of reality distortion
 
Also, I forget how many encounters Lana has like this—there’s no telling how many of these interactions (both in-person and online) she has that we’ve never heard of

Something that excites me for LDR9 is that she seems to be taking her time/refraining from giving out release dates. With COCC, she made remarks about feeling uncertain about its readiness for release, and I’m sure COVID played some part in that as well (I believe the COVID part was mentioned directly by Lana or Jack but someone correct me if wrong). 

Lana recently described NFR as being her best record, and I think she could very easily top it with LDR9 if she takes her time with Jack (assuming he’s the producer based on recent posts). I think she’s grown a lot as an artist since 2019, and I think her recently closing the chapter on getting “revenge” via telling her story on Blue Banisters has paved a really nice path for LDR9. 

I could see the record being relatively fun/lighthearted (almost how NFR and LFL were) and reflect the life she’s shared via her Honeymoon account, but we’ll see!

This is your regular reminder that engaging with the mentally ill never ends well for anybody. I hope this woman finds some peace and has someone close to her who encourages her to get help.

ok so heres my thoughts on her clearly working with Jack again for LDR9:
Jack can clearly give us a banger of an album, look at NFR (he also did Melodrama & Reputation and some amazing tracks on Lover). I think what soured people on him was Chemtrails, and honestly I think that album would have been on FIRE had the pandemic never happened. I really wish Lana had waited a bit longer for the pandemic to clear up and for her to get more studio time with jack for the songs on chemtrails. The first 4 songs were so good because they were done and ready pre-pandemic, and then the rest struggled with the fact Lana and Jack couldn't meet and get in the studio together (hence why the end of chemtrails seems more half assed and she started contemplating putting older songs like Dealer on it to fill up space)
Now that lana has jack all to herself and in person, and the fact he spent his literal birthday in the studio for lana...they HAVE to be coming up with something good, its giving the little insta live videos we had of them working in the studio on How to Disappear etc! Im VERY EXCITED
