Same. I cringe the most at the lyrics but it's also boring sonically. Those lyrics are emo middle school girl's diary-tier.

The way AS&C never came like 

You are comparing the lyrically strongest song on one album to one of the lyrically weakest on the other, and furthermore, a verse to a chorus. Not really a solid argument. 
 
Lana said herself on the Grammys red carpet that NFR is a "safe" album and it is, by her standards, as it doesn't deal with any controversial themes like most of her previous work. That doesn't make it a bad album, but there's nothing particularly groundbreaking about it sonically or thematically, imo.

i feel like she downgraded the second she met Jack. Even the demo of Votd that she sent to him as inspo sounds better than most of the songs on the nfr. Lmlylaw sounds straight out of nfr. Its just getting boring and repetitive.It even has the exact same short melody in the background as most of nfr songs. Summertime was finally something new and you can see how much fans liked it. If Lana stays with Jack for the next albums, i think fans will slowly begin unstanning

Dreamy ass music

Considering she just wrote a song about him on NFR (the weather changing and Flipside references were a dead giveaway imo if London wasn't already), I wouldn't be surprised if they still talk occasionally. Before NFR was released, I personally think they have hooked up again at some point when they were both available to do so - maybe many times throughout the years. I think she had recent leftover feelings for him and possibly for each other in some way, but that's just my speculation.

I feel like maybe she’s not as excited about this album just bc it was written in a certain time and now she’s in a better place and has different feelings rn. If that makes sense. Like now she’s in a new relationship, but I’m assuming that some of chemtrails was written about Sean or her breakup. So maybe she’s just over that and doesn’t want to relive it with this album. But idk just a thought I had. 

oh just read the thread and someone mentioned it already. anyways, this song could've stayed unreleased. boring, generic lyrics, snoozefest. COCC will be just like NFR methinks
