Everything you say makes sense. 
It’s hard to say if she is done with RCS because we lack so many info.
- When she launched QFTC, I thought she was done with Chemtrails, thinking she had written and recorded during the quarantine, her and Jack on different coasts. But in interviews this year, she did say the quarantine had cut short her time recording COCC. 
- COCC was supposed to be called WHF, and TJF clearly is a standout on that album, and is one of the few tracks that has a bigger sound. Again, she did say that Chemtrails is about standing at a still point, but I guessed she had envisioned that the next step would be in the vein of WHF. 
- So: Chemtrails was mostly recorded just before Norman’s release and through her NFR tour. Quarantine cut it short. The big mystery remaining is: did she record during last summer and last spring songs that would end up on RCS? Plus she did meet with Zach at some point for the folk cover album... Did new songs come out of those sessions or just covers? 

Didn't Lana say during an interview that she had told Jack to be "wilder" with creating new music with her? Maybe Lana managed to convince him not to hold back with the instrumentals, therefore, if he is actually co-producing RCS, it's possible we will get a wilder album

I think that she wrote RCS during the quarantine and that it has a few scraps from previous eras.
 
COCC is too introspective for being an accident and if she had written RCS before, she would already be over it by now and the project would never see the light of the day.
 
QFTC in my head was triggered by Dealer, losing the Grammys and seeing other artists being praised for singing about the same subjects. And I also strongly believe that she had been holding herself back for a while and that this also contributed to the QFTC.
 
But I liked your theory. Can't wait to read what the others have to say about this

cocc was written in 2019-20 with a couple of older songs and finished by summer 2020 so I would not be surprised if rock candy sweet is completely done. And she's writing new music now

Heavy drums
Saxophone
A lot of electric guitars
Trap beats & electronical sounds
Sound effects like chirping birds, breaking glass sound , thunderstorm sounds

She really kept the songs almost exactly the same! Some vocal takes sound more mature and flow a lot better, but most of the time it’s very easy to forget these are recently recorded 

well... youre comparing shelved songs from 2006 written by a 16 y.o to well-crafted 2020 songs written by a 30 yr old  

I am enjoying the new Fearless so hard, got me listening to all the unreleased again, God do I love this woman's music

I really really really hate Chromatica 
I wanted to listen to it open-minded, I even initially included it among the records I was the most excited for in 2020 BUUUUUUUT every single song has something missing imo

I tried to give a chance to miss Eyelash, but ended up liking maybe 2 songs. I despise the rest 
I don't really understand her phenomenon tbh
