Nice day out, getting lunch ready. some kind of lemonade. dancing with your husband to let the light in in the kitchen. ah, that'll be something.

I think the influence was more in the creation of a unique and cohesive sonic world with a pervasive mood rather than outright elements from BTD 

this has been on repeat for the past 48 hours and still going strong... it keeps getting better in fact 

I'm gonna see her in Milan on June 2nd, I'll try to scream and ask to her if she can give us a snippet of Lasso first single ft Nikki Lane and Asap Rocky

Haven’t seen an album this universally loved in a while

blue, birds of a feather and the dinner are my favorites 

Billie's and her brother's music is remarkably deep for their age. When you compare that album with Grande or Dula Peep's, the difference in maturity couldn't be more stark. 
 
Dula comes across as a complete airhead by comparison. (Sorry Peep fans)
 
It's incredible that someone who's 22 can write a song like BLUE.
 
I swear guys, this is one of the best albums of the year. Definitely made me an even bigger fan.

Lunch and Birds of a Feather are the most obvious radio tracks.

I’ve had more time with this album with good headphones and I really love it. Easily her best work so far.

Easily one of the best albums I have heard in YEARS. 10/10. INSTANT CLASSIC. Coming from someone who listened to Billie every now and then. Im really not biased. ITS JUST THE GREATEST!!!

I just listened to American Jesus, I counted like 30 references to BTD/PE songs. Instead of making some shitty post about being copied and imitated, Lana recognised her impact, saw a bit of herself in that girl,  and bought her out on stage. She showed us a kind, humble woman. The way BTD is still impacting all these artists after all these years and it was so heavily panned at the time is so inspiring. The way BTD’s working title was “The Revenge of LDR” feels so apt as an OG in this heyday we’ve found ourselves in. Life imitates art indeed.I think this truly might be the peak for us. The last couple of years have been crazy, and through it all she’s still helping the others up. She’s a one of a kind. And I’m glad she seems to be enjoying her revenge.

I just read the lyrics, it really does sound like something an "insider" could've made up and claim it was written by Lana in the BTD/pre-BTD era. I haven't heard the song yet but I agree, it was nice of Lana to bring her on stage if she's an inspiration to Nessa.

Ok I don’t personally care (I just think these guests are insanely random LOL) but I think users on here just don’t want Lana to be associated with these people because they think their music/image is bad or cringy . It’s like how a bunch of people get mad about TayLana for no reason because they don’t like Taylor. I agree it’s weird.
