If this is THE revenge record, it better serve more chaotic/camp/psychedelic/electronica/weird vibes. I'm thinking of an album consists of tracks like In My Feelings, Heroin (L4L), Venice Bitch (NFR!), Black Bathing Suit, Dealer (BB) & White Dress (COCC).

I know she hasn't announced anything yet (except that it exists and that it's gonna be a digital only release) and that we just got a whole new album yesterday, but I wanted to create this thread for us, sexually hyperactive music addicteds, to discuss and make manifestations for her upcoming magnum opus Boom Like That, out September 11th on Dbree.

    WHAT WE KNOW ABOUT IT

Okay I was a bit slow on the uptake but holy shit “Beautiful” is an album highlight. Or maybe I’m just a sucker for any mention of the deep blues and wolves?

I always wanted Lana to do something more upbeat but in this album the ballads are my favorite songs

By asking for a video for every song except Dealer. Only then will she do it. Reverse psychology

this is an interesting take because personally i felt like wildflower wildfire worked so well between thunder & nectar of the gods. especially right before nectar of the gods, i do think lyrically they're so perfect beside each other and sometimes i almost even forget how old nectar of the gods is because it just belongs beside wildflower wildfire but then again we all do have a different listening experience. it's just interesting how completely opposite we can all see the same things. i love it.

the lyrics are so weak on this albummmm.

born to die will 4ever be her best album(even tho i like AKA more) cuz its a collection of songs she worked on for a while, recording multiple versions with multiple producers, exploring the different sounds and lyrics. it also explores orchestral trip hop or w/e which is pretty fuckin cool.

if honeymoon had better lyrics, it would be her best album. i'd really like to hear an album full of remade/reworked old songs to sound like honeymoon.

I think the album would have been more cohesive sonically if WW was placed after Arcadia since WW has crisp sound effects at the end and the Trio has bass effects that would be coherent with that crisp sound, plus Arcadia and WW are slow songs either.

and I think WW losts its magic when i play the album in order since it's between Thunder and NoTG, little bit more moving songs than WW. I was listening WW more excited before the album release than I am now.

I just received the items I pre-ordered from Lana's US store! The transparent white vinyl, the two exclusive cover CDs, and the red & brown cassettes. (Bad lighting in the photo, sorry.)
I also received the Target CD I pre-ordered yesterday too. I'm still waiting on the yellow vinyl I ordered from Urban Outfitters and the signed art cards & CDs from her Canadian store and her Netherlands merchant. I have received notices from both though that it will be delayed, her Canadian store will ship November 12th & Platenzaak NL isn't sure yet. Sounds like that they both will be shipping the CD first and then the signed card when it's ready.
I'm so happy! As a collector, whenever I receive merch I ordered, it feels like my birthday  (which is ironic since my birthday actually was earlier this month lol)

I find it interesting how a lot of fans praised the absolute shit out of Text Book, Blue Banisters, and Arcadia, yet they’re ranked towards the bottom of this poll. Either everyone was completely blown away by all the new songs on the album, or a very loud minority was kissing ass about those songs.

Makes me feel a whole lot better because I couldn’t understand why I wasn’t hearing what everyone else was hearing when I saw praise after praise for the songs.

Okay but yall are trashing some YT reviewer's absence of taste while not voting for Beautiful as one of the highlights of the record...

I have a feeling that the "batshit crazy" project that she's been wanting to do for years may be some sort of double/triple release

Agree with this so much. My colleagues at work at pissed off at me because she sounds like a screeching cat through my headphones, especially on Arcadia. The music is mixed so low compared to her voice and the voice itself is unpolished, and therefore it just sounds amateurish in places. In comparison, they don't complain when I listen to tracks like Ride or Video Games, etc. Fantano is right. Something is wrong in La-Na Land this time.

There was a thread that was dry,
    sittin' on Lanaboards
She asked me what it is,
    I said, "A place I don't remember"
    Pre-release (ooooh huh huh huh)

I love BB but somehow I miss being excited for a new record. Let‘s hope Miss Del Rey announces LDR 9 soon

I'm glad Lana's left Fantano behind. Having him like her was always something of a 'turd in the chocolate box' (as a friend of mine used to put it), so good riddance. Forget about just the score he gave Ultraviolence, watch the actual video. It's one of the most moronic ten minutes ever. You can't accuse him of being a misogynist, but he is an idiot - this is a guy who (rightly) loves Lingua Ignota, who is experimental, but can't deal with someone he's put in a different box trying to go out of it. Even when, if you look over all of Lana's career, she's constantly changed what she's done.
