I've just watched her video and I don't know why, but it feels a bit scary? I mean, especially the begging - her voice is trembling, she blinks a lot and speaks really slow. I completely respect her decision and think it will be good for her mental health, but something in this statement is really weird. Maybe I'm just dramatic, but I can't shut this feeling, that something is not ok. And sorry if it was already told, but I had to write that.

Feels awful to speculate.  I already regret posting this reply, lol. But it’s just so weird. Or maybe she’s receiving some sort of treatment somewhere. The whole “she needs privacy” thing is intriguing and also somewhat concerning. But I guess we aren’t owed an explanation.

I just think it’s hilarious that the roll out for this new album has been so good, especially compared to Chemtrails and now she’s all “here’s my old passport photo, oh and i’m leaving public view now, enjoymynewalbumbye”.

The more I think about it, the more it seems that video was a farewell to her relationship with Interscope, and Lana saying 'thank you for the support' could imply that she's thanking us (the fans) for getting her to the top since 2011 so she could be who she is today. That doesn't necessarily mean her career is coming to an end, but it's like she's saying thank you to us for making her new career ventures a possibility (possibly signing with Capitol, releasing more poetry etc)

Didn’t expect to return from a mini internet break to this news 
I’m going to miss her sporadic social media presence very much. Her posts felt personal, and her personality can be very cute/endearing. As long as this is a decision she’s making on her own and in peace, what else can we do but hope for the best. I will say, there are a few parts of the video I thought felt weird. When she said “I’m really, um, blessed...thank you” at the end, there’s something I can’t quite place that seemed off about it. There’s endless variables that could contribute to that, projection on our part, there could be some shit going on in her life, she’s just stressed about making this video... In any case, I hope she’s okay. And that she will come back to sharing things with us one day, if she feels comfortable ?

This is distressing, but this is also a 36 year old woman who's had a fucked up relationship, to say the least, with the public and critics alike for the past ten years. This isn't surprising in the slightest, but the timing is off. I honestly wish her the best.

It's all left me feeling unsettled... I don't know why... Something feels off! I hope she's ok. I can understand needing to be away from social media. People post such hurtful stuff about her

I kinda have no doubt she will be back sooner than we think tbh... we all know how sporadic she can be - announcing albums that don't exist, announcing dates where nothing happens etc. I think she might be being a little dramatic at the moment but it might be nice for her to take a break, just seems super weird when she has an album coming out next month? Why didn't she do this after the album release
