If there’s one thing I dislike about fan-made track-list is knowing we’ll never get a song title as iconic as Liz, I’m calling from California

Bunch of new Kacey information about the new album shared on Twitter by @/KaceyAccess and some other accounts that I cant remember atm.
 
New album is called Star-Crossed! It will be released before September 31st (apparently) and is listed for release on September 24th on albumoftheyear.org currently.
 
Her lead single is alleged to be released this week (August 27th). 
 
The album is about her divorce with Ruston Kelly, and is reported to be more psychedelic influenced than Golden Hour, and more pop oriented, but still has that country flare Golden Hour had. It will have 15 tracks. One of the tracks is called ‘If I Was An Angel’, another ‘Camera Roll’. ‘Peach Fuzz’ may be on there too.
 
She will be performing at the VMAs according to @deuxmoiworld on Twitter.
 
There is more in depth detail on the sound of the album etc in her interview with Crack Magazine, and across KaceyAccess’s Twitter page. I’m super excited!

i think you're taking the wrong point from her post. she knows unreleased music will leak after her death and there's nothing she can do about it. however, she doesn't want albums of unreleased music to be released. im just confused as to why you're saying that "you dont always get what you want in life" when it has something to do with her artistry and her will which states that no posthumous albums will be released. 

i don't think this is so much abt leaks - those can't be controlled anyway & are unofficial - but actual album / song releases by record labels that will then be considered as much a part of your official discography as what you released during your lifetime, even though you had no say in what's chosen / how it's edited or produced / etc. 
 
seeing what's happened to artists like lil peep, whose unpublished work is still being milked for a quick buck regardless of quality or artist intent, i have to say: good for her, i'd do the same.

I really hope the tracklist is fake...'Songbird,' one of the blandest, most overly-used titles ever?
 
I doubt she would title a song 'Trail of Tears,' as, regardless of the 'Ride' video and the recent talk of donating to Native American causes, it's a subject I believe she doesn't know a great deal about and has no authentic personal or familial history with. From what I've seen of her choice in reading material, she tends towards secondary or tertiary sources and 'lite' versions of whatever the subject is that interests her. Which is fair enough. 
 
We don't know for a fact that LDR's an actual admirer of Sylvia Plath's poetry per se either, but Plath is mostly known for her early promise, 1950s marriage, mental illness, book 'The Bell Jar,' and especially her suicide. Even in the mid-70s, it was Plath's life and legend, not her poetry, that sustained her reputation. 
 
IF LDR were to co-opt the phrase 'trail of tears' completely for her own personal use, that would be a terrible and foolhardy mistake on her part, and hopefully, she would know better.

They totally got Pushing Up Daisies from the recent IG post about her will and threw in Trail of Tears to cause a stir.

There are certain RULES around making a fake Lana tracklist and they broke them
For example you need at least one title that's really long and awkward-sounding. All of those are too succinct. 

yall are really weird for thinking it would be the media’s fault for taking that title the “wrong way”... it would be so wrong of her. period. but either way i think its 100% fake.

At this point if the album doesn't have a track called like that, I don't want it

anyways I wonder if either of the videos she teased from this era will ever come out. would be kinda iconic if she reworks the BB one & adds a scene at the end where she’s watching the video on a tv like a video in a video & then hits her tv with a bat & then burns the house down or something that would be cute tbh
