I'm extremely excited for Blue Banisters. I honestly feel like it could be her best project to date (even better than Ultraviolence or Norman). The songs released already are all STUNNING, lyrically and sonically.
And this really is the "Revenge Of Lana Del Rey" album, the lyrics go back to portray a lot of the "old" Lana that we haven't seen much of since the LFL demos (for example how she changed drastically the tone of BPBP from a UV-like honest track to... that final version) yet it doens't feel like a throwback album or a recycle of old material (even if some of the 2013 demos are apparently not reworked at all). This feels like a well thought out body of work. 
 
Oh I can't WAIT.

CoCC sold super well but I kinda suspect that was because NFR was such an acclaimed album. I doubt that CoCC created a lot of buzz for it's follow-up and although Lana seems to be MUCH more inspired again compared to NFR/CoCC, yet she still just threw 3 tracks out there without any promotion and Arcadia is a wonderful track but not really a strong single for the mainstream.
So yeah, it's not really very suprising there is no huge buzz about this outside the fandom. I could see BB as a critics-darling though

now i’m really hoping she’ll hold on to the tour dates for a little longer considering the fact that i blew all my money on the physicals…

i honestly hope that the urban pressing will be the last pressing considering the fact that ldrvillage will stock merch and i already blew all my money on the physicals… and also guys don’t worry, i think the vinyl will be restocked on ldrvillage.

my god i just accidentally bought 2 copies of the hmv exclusive cds…well i’ll just give one to my uk friend who’s sending it over to me, also it’ll be good for the charts ?

I love the trumpets in Arcadia so much the song gives me such a wizard of oz vibe I don’t even know why 

i'm hoping so but at this point we won't really know until it's out. it's possible! but it's also possible it'll be the same. if so, i'm hoping we can get someone to save it from the vinyl. if i can get more than one of the same copy of the vinyl, i'll do a vinyl rip

Arcadia is so CLASSIC LDR. I think it could be next to Video Games, Terrence Loves You, Young and Beautiful, Bel Air. You know... that cinematic LDR sound + LDR original lyrics that made her famous and made us fall in love with her back in the tumblr days. Love it! 

i really really really hope so... i like to think she'd come to the UK to make up for the NFR! tour dates she cancelled last minute
