Tbh I don’t think Lana cared that much, she looked very happy for Taylor. I think it is nice Taylor brought her on stage to celebrate the win, especially after the rule changes. 
 
btw the rule change was that a collaborator must be on 50% of the record to receive a Grammy so technically Lana would have won if it was any other year

I'm very excited about this project, it was clearly something that Lana and Jack were working on in parallel to the other albums and didn't want to release until it was good enough. 

I remember expecting the title "A&W" meant a cute song about root beer on Route 66 or something, not a genre-breaking Grammy-nominated manifesto about modern American womanhood. We've come a long way. 

So I’ve recently discovered this gorgeous song thanks to an awful movie and I’ve been replaying it nonstop since. I don’t really know if this could be considered country but I’d love something like this on the album 
 
 

I love the title Lasso, it's perfect to me. Simple, evocative, country, and a lasso is used to catch people and pull them in just like Lana's going to do to us once again  I see a future classic on the horizon
