I’m still praying for Fine China at some point, and I’d never thought I’d say this, but I’m kinda «  over » Yes to Heaven. We already have so many versions of it and I get it’s a « mood song », but the lyrics are a bit tired IMO. And it almost made the cut of what? Four albums? She should release both tracks as a double single and call it a day.

White Dress got boring pretty quickly. It was interesting and suprising for the first few listens but by now that thrill is gone and while I still think it's one of the strongest songs on CoCC, I often feel the urge to press skip after the first chorus. Apart from those high pitch vocals there really isn't a lot going on

I don't want this project JUST BECAUSE I really like to listen unreleased material arranged by eras + theme. My mind can't conceive an album that contains Serial Killer, Yes to Heaven, I Don't Wanna Go, Serene Queen and I Talk to Jesus (to name some examples) at the same time. But if I had to choose some, I'd love to get these:

She's doesn't have the characteristics of a role model. She came into mainstream with an edgy femme fatale persona, just the 'Ride' video and her referencing Blanche DeBouis in itself is the opposite of virtue signaling as well as naming her song Lolita, which for some reason made her the face of 'people who romanticize Lolita'. Maybe it's because she's not aggressive when defending herself and seems like an easy target to bullying and harassment. That happens often in school.

Maybe people think she's something like a role model. If you're in a certain position people judge you harder for every little mistake, but it also can be a sign that they have special respect for you.

I'm still not over the fact that I thought The Trio was gonna be a cute little minute long interlude with some piano and guitar with lyrics about Nikki Jenny and Lana, and then it turned out to be an Ennio Morricone sample with a trap beat

I just want to add a small note regarding using English.
This is an online fan forum, with fans from all over the world. Some of us here have grown up hearing, speaking and reading English since we were toddlers, while others have been taught in school (or elsewhere) and are still learning. I'm confident in my English language skills, but I, too, am still learning. There are still times when I go back and edit something I've written that could've been formulated better. Some of LanaBoards' users are 40 years old or older, some of the users here are 15 (or perhaps even younger - I'm not sure since we don't really have data on it). What I mean to say is that it's only natural that we're on different skill levels when it comes to mastering a language, so please be kind to each other here. I want everyone to feel welcome to share their thoughts and excitement, even if they're not very confident in writing in English. This website is an excellent place to have fun while practicing your English. The guidelines encourages all users to use English so everyone can have the opportunity to join a discussion and not feel left out.
Now, I hope we can leave this behind us and continue being hyped for the album!

I can't help but wonder why she put Dealer on this album. Did she feel like she had to, because she had told us it might be on Chemtrails? I think one of the reasons why she added Yosemite to Chemtrails and not one of the 129 other Lust for Life outtakes was because she knew the fans were eager to hear it. Or did she really feel like Dealer was part of the story she wanted to tell us?
 

Maybe she/they want to test, how many people really like her music, without all the social media hype, promotion etc., like with the three singles dropped surprisingly in May with this unmotivated cover image ... It's very admirable that she wants to convince with her music only and nothing more.
