I found my favourite Lana album
its called “Did you know that there are Chemtrails over the country club where Norman fucks Rockwell during their Honeymoon?” 

paradise had a whole different concept from btd and you can see that in tropico. she made a whole short film for that album, she definitely considers it to be her 2nd album. it’s hardly an EP anyway, if you include burning desire then it’s almost 40 minutes long, that’s not a mf EP. 
 
also she hardly acknowledges aka lizzy, it’s literally only a fandom thing to include that as her 1st album. 

It's strange to me that Honeymouns is obsessed with this track and hating on Blue Banisters bc the two are not that different, the track could've fit on BB and I wouldn't have found it weird 

We'll get crumbs of AKA eventually. She already released Yayo and that PSB video I'm sure she has at least another couple of songs there she'll want to revisit but there's no way she re-releases the whole thing 

she already owns the masters to it and the label that released it (5 Points) no longer exists (they been defunct for a decade now) 
the only OK she needs is from HERSELF and she said NO!

I think we'll get 2 more singles before it drops. She'll need to keep the momentum going through winter and the winter holidays, and the sense that March is three months into the new year. And (to my way of thinking) especially since 'Ocean Blvd' isn't that memorable musically and is too similar to other recent releases.

Wow. The lyrics are sadder/more complex than I thought. Comparing herself to the lost tunnel, feeling like she's stuck in a cycle of being used and forgotten, how she deeply desires true love, and wants to be seen, but feels like no one wants to get to know the real her, how perhaps her relationships have meant more to her than her partners. There's so much emotion in this song, and don't even get me started on "Don't forget me..." repeated throughout. My heart.

i know it literally just came out today but i definitely feel like this is a song i'll enjoy and come back to throughout my whole life, it's just such a nice, pleasant song, even with the striking lyrics  how can she make a lyric such as "fuck me to death" sound so romantic and ...humble? matured?  i'll be 40 and thriving while listening to ocean boulevard, enjoying all of the happy, beautiful things my life has to offer!  

The lyrical content of the song is just so complex, relatable and heartbreaking. The usage of the tunnel and references to it are done in such a compelling way. I really am finding myself falling in love with the title track so quickly
