at this point the record might not even be titled as "Lasso"

Henry is such a beautiful song and is arguably one of the most Lana songs out there in existence. The chord progression is gorgeous, the melody (especially in the chorus) is so LDR, and it thematically fits in the country genere in such a fluid and creative way that makes me like country (typically not really my thing but her spin on it is so digestible and dare I say enjoyable). We need to manifest this on the next record

but still confused by her intros of hey hey, my my and free bird.. unless this is a dark side of the moon kinda deal with prog rock and psychedelic sounds.. I wouldn’t be mad, but tough wouldn’t fit in there soooo.. 

TBH I would be shocked if she DIDN’T announce the song on a random date at a random time. Her announcements literally never make any sense which makes speculating…Tough

I don’t trust online articles, they usually know as much as we do (sometimes even less since we live in a Lana bubble) but manifesting they’re right so Lasso still comes out in September!

imagine a lasso official announcement and album pre order + tough release on fourth of july omg it kinda makes sense cause lasso is a country americana album and 4th of july seems like a good date to release something

The song was so good at Fenway…I keep thinking about it. I love them together and I love the visuals so far. Hoping it’s out in the next 2 weeks

Why can't they just say the release date. They already played the whole song. There's nothing else to anticipate.

A stand-alone single would make a lot of sense

This could be a random stand-alone single...or it could be the lead of a short EP (Lana and Quavo as a "band"? Not to mention that they've also recorded Fly Away which has already been registered)...or the Lasso lead...or a stand-alone single aka Doin' Time that ends up on the album...or a Quavo single, lmao. 
 
Anyway, yes, an early/mid July release makes a lot of sense!
 
The twitter insider told us that it's nearly impossible that Lasso be released in September, given that she hadn't finished the album in February. The ATRL insider said that Lana and Quavo recorded Tough in February, and it could be a late (?) addition to the album, and also pretty much implied that Lasso wasn't finished anyway, so...And now there's a rumour that the album will be released next spring, so she's probably still working on it? Would she release the lead single so many months before the album release? This is so confusing, lol.
