By asking for a video for every song except Dealer. Only then will she do it. Reverse psychology

I've spent a lot more time with Blue Banisters, and I think this might be my new ranking:
1. NFR
2. Blue Banisters
3. Honeymoon
4. Lust for Life
5. Ultraviolence
6. Chemtrails
7. Born to Die/AKA
8. Paradise
I honestly feel like NFR, Blue Banisters and Honeymoon switch between 1, 2 and 3 every day though, so take their numbers with a grain of salt

There was a thread that was dry,
sittin' on Lanaboards
She asked me what it is,
I said, "A place I don't remember"
Pre-release (ooooh huh huh huh)
I love BB but somehow I miss being excited for a new record. Let‘s hope Miss Del Rey announces LDR 9 soon

I mean - I don't even know what i love more - watching people reacting to Lana' chaotic drunken vocals on "Black Bathing Suit" / watching them reacting to Lana's screamer "Dealer" or watching them get jawdropping & confused af at the fact she putting I"nterlude - The Trio" in the album for no reason.

This is one of Lana's best albums in terms of vocals for me, so I'm happy that she's proud of that aspect because she absolutely deserves to be. She really delivered in every aspect and did such a nice mix of her softer vocals and her rougher/crazier ones

The way when you first listen to BBS the instrumentation sounds so erratic but then with every listen it just sounds more and more normal and soon you realize it's perfect for the song

Hot fire, hot weather, hot coffee, I'm better
So I turn but I learn (it from you, babe)
Not to turn into a wildfire
To light up your night
With only my smile and nothing that hurts
Baby, I run like a wildflower
I live on sheer willpower
I promise that nothing will burn you
Nothing will burn, burn, burn, burn
Like the others baby, burns, burns, burns
Burn, burn, burn
Like the others baby, burn, burn, burn

Cherry Blossom hits different when you think that Lana's singing for you directly almost as if she's looking out for us especially when things get complicated or hard

I gotta admit i miss that weird synth from the leaked version for dealer.
im thinking if she were to release videos she'd probably just release them w no announcement like hope, or we'd have to wait a longer time post covers album.
i actually think this just might be my most favorite Lana record. undoubtedly actually. the yellow cover's been growing so much on me, it just connects and for me at least, reps the overall feel of the record.
i think intuitively, listening to the album the first few times i already got how things connected and it was just so powerful, and what's better about it is that the music on this one just seems like it was made for some kind of eternity, it has a feel of being eternal. it's gentle, it's flowing, but still leaves a kind of imprint.
i'd love some more music from Lana ofc, but I think it'd be alright if this was her last album as her own artist/ Lana Del Rey. It feels like she's already said all that she's wanted to say with her career (at least so far?). the point is, the album's strangely contenting and powerfully fresh and overall, serene.
I feel very proud to have this on my shelf when the vinyl finally gets to me

She needs to make a video for dealer NOW or her teams needs to get it playlisting on Spotify it would literally be her biggest hit in years
the locals are eating it up

If you were to make a Lana album out of this concept, using her entire discography, what would it look like?
I’m imagining a 12 track album with each section representing a different point in time that shows Lana’s journey from the beginning to now. Using her lyrics and the stories she tells, how would you lay them out to be like a timeline in album form?
What it was like:
1: Boarding School
2: This Is What Makes Us Girls/Driving in Cars with Boys
3: Queen of the Gas Station
4: Ride
What happened:
5: In the Land of Gods and Monsters
6: Dealer
7: Ultraviolence
8: Fine China
What it’s like now:
9: 13 Beaches
10: Chemtrails over the Country Club
11: Violets for Roses
12: Sweet Carolina
I’m curious to see how you guys might interpret this! Share your album tracklist below
(This was actually harder than I thought)
(I don't like my track list, I'll have to try it again another day)

I want to share my little story with you if you may:
My grandmother died of Covid in April. I lived with her all my life, I used to put her to bed every night and I never forgot to say 'good night, sleep tight' always fearing that it might be the last time. Her death is something that still makes me cry like a child. So last night I was in the bathroom, crying my heart out because I miss her and I didn't get the chance to say goodbye, I couldn't see her because of Covid restrictions. I asked God for a sign, I prayed and I told him to send my a butterfly to let me know that she's alright. Today after lunch I went outside to have a smoke, Blue Banisters playing with my headphones on, and there was the butterfly. It stared flying all over me while I was standing on the grass when Beautiful started playing. I couldn't help crying. I'm going to keep this moment in my heart forever. Don't know if it was just a coincidence, I don't care, I needed it and I choose to believe! Beautiful now has a special meaning for me, I will never forget it. My heart is so full right now. Hopefully someday I get the chance to meet Lana just to thank her.

I feel like Lana really loves the blue-profile album cover. It seems to have some sort of significance to her, as she commented “A picture is worth a thousand words” on Neil’s post of it, and only that photo. She also told Brian, the fan in the livestream, to not worry about getting the vinyl, and to get only that vinyl variant if they had to.
Looking at it, it is such an impactful, defiant, and stunning shot — but upon closer inspection, you can see it looks like there’s something out there in the distance that appears troubling to her, and I think that perfectly sums up the place she’s at in this record. The album is a portrait of her, essentially, and is born out of her experiences, so I actually think this cover is a direct representation of the record, and is worth the thousands of words she wrote on this album.
