She should've done a b-side + demo album for every album because she has like million outtakes and demos from each era.

    Also A&W music video!

What projects, that were confirmed to exist, but scrapped, are your favorite, that you really wish they would come into fruition, as planned?

Just for the record, most of these projects that I'm talking about:
    — Scrapped Lana Del Ray a.k.a. Lizzy Grant tracklist (In an interview on a French page it was revealed, that Lana wanted to change her name on the cover to "Lana Del Ray" and add some new songs to the record right before its release, but manegment wanted the album to be as it was)
    — Various srcapped Born to Die tracklists with tracks like "Hundred Dollar Bill" (Emile Haynie Version), Queen of Disaster or Kinda Outta Luck
    — Video for "Dark Paradise"
    — A full-length studio album Paradise, not attached to Born to Die era
    — Acoustic 2013 project (named Tropico)
    — Unknown project made with Barrie in 2013
    — Original Ultraviolence with Rick Nowels
    — Video for "Pretty when You Cry"
    — Scrapped Lust for Life tracklist with "Yosemite" and "Best American Record"
    — Scrapped Lust for Life B-Side album with outtakes
    — Unknown 2017 hip-hop mixtape with different features
    — Norman Fucknig Rockwell! as a concept album, that was developing in early 2018
    — White Hot Forever
    — Second poetry book Behind the Iron Gates - Insights from an Institution
    — Album of covers
    — Album with Nikki Lane

    For me such projects are
    1. Making "Cola" a second single and releasing the video for it
    2. Scrapped deluxe edition of Ultraviolence with tracks "Fine China" and "Your Girl"
    3. Scrapped Lust for Life B-Side album with outtakes

And I possibly looking at the idea of turning Paradise into the full separate album, I really feel like songs from September 2012-February 2013 are so-so Paradise coded, I wonder what would've been if she tried to include there songs like Angels Forever (Demo Version), Ave Maria, Wild One, I Talk to Jesus, and I Don't Wanna Go,

but I'm not sure yet if it would've looked right, I still imagine Paradise time as its own thing, but in Born to Die universe, if that makes sense

Honestly pink friday 2 was underwhelming, which is sad bc I was actually excited for this album
there’s a couple songs that id listen to again but the rest feels a bit mediocre. I do love a good sample but there’s so many that it feels overdone. OG pink friday will always be superior

I keep thinking if she does do an unreleased album, I feel like it would be a double album and the second part would be the standards&classics/covers

I’m pretty sure I would still not like the album if I was black… or straight…. Or even a worm.

it is so embarrassing to start the vol 2 of her best acclaimed album with a billie eilish sample intro 💀 please.... it's giving ig reels edits like 'which bedroom are you smashin the hardest'

So I think this question could be perceived in different ways:
How has growing up influenced your view? Are there songs/albums you enjoy less or more than before? How has time based on things such as world events or personal experiences changed those perceptions?

I listened to the song for the first time yesterday and.....it was probably the cringiest song I've ever heard. Like what the fuck was that:
    She's my alma mater
    Chasin' lines all night
    Smokin' me outta sight
    Well, summer's gettin' hotter
Threw her T-shirt down the pike
    Screamin', "Fuck Balenciaga"
    Right past the Wawa
    Threw on "Heartattack and Vine"
    As she alligator cries
    I'll make it darker
    2003, sad all the time

This isn't even camp, it's like something what a pretentious nerdy Instagram kid in high school, who thinks they were born in a wrong generation, would write. Sorry this was too specific, I know that Jack isn't like this but I know that he's capable of doing better music. The production reminded me of Midnights album a lot. Like the song isn't bad, it's just so weird, the whole time I listened to the song my face was like this  Lana's part was good though, the "I'll make it darker" part. I wouldn't mind listening to this part for 10 hours, it was like so smooth.

I can't lie, the writing reminds me of what an AI-written stereotype of what a bad Lana song would be like.

The "summer's getting hotter," is a Lana mainstay, "screaming fuck baleciaga" (screaming black lives matter?), heartattack and vine is an album but it also reminds me of "hollywood and vine," I'll make it darker is probably a Leonard Cohen reference  (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=v0nmHymgM7Y), but the way the last line is framed in the song sounds almost mocking.

I don't know, it's a really weird one, I can't vibe with it at all and like you said it does come across as pretentious (and strangely unauthentic). I wonder what Lana wrote on it.

Edit: I'm very rarely critical and overly negative like this, but I just don't like the song. The most annoying thing is I feel like it had so much missed potential lyrically. It's almost there, but it's just not hitting the way it should.

DAMN GIRL SHE USED HEROIN IN HER LATEST POST AND ESPECIALLY WITH MY FAVORITE PART OF THE SONG OMFG I'M SHOCKED AND SHE USED THAT IN THE STORIES TOO AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA

ALSO PRINCESS CHELSEA COMMENTED ON THAT POST WITH A "🔥" EMOJI OMFG MOI ROMAN EMPIRE I WASN'T READY FOR THIS AAAAAA

This really reminded me that time when she used randomly Terrence Loves You in one of her reels, I love when she acknowledges my favorite songs in this way, also she talked about Swan Song and LFL album yesterday in that interview too, my two favorite albums, my Roman Empire.

Honestly...I little bit caused here too much rant but I don't care because this was unexpected and also something pleasant!

I also love that she's verfied now, Honeymoon is alive and breathing and verfied!
I mean, she did say she loves the vibe of "Heroin"
Squiddy, ily but...I do agree what you said on the first part, I have been waiting for 24 moment too but don't you slander my child Religion like that, she's godly too, the production is heavenly. But you're right that Godlymoon is Godlymoon

    hey everyone!

just wanted to give a quick little
    *~~Mod Note~~*

As you can probably guess, since the mods been commenting/talking about what's going on, we are aware of what is going on with LDR Village, but we are in the same boat as all of you regarding what is official/what is not. Right now, the ONLY 'official' (if you can even call it that) news we've gotten is (allegedly) from Ben telling someone to e-mail tap management regarding LDR village. Since that was posted on Reddit, and not on his official instagram, it's hard to know if that was even a real exchange of messages, and until TAP/Lana/someone officially comments on the situation, we know as much as everyone else!

Just wanted to touch base with everyone, and let you know that we here at Lanaboards are both aware of the situation, but equally in the dark about what is going on

Hope you all have a wonderful day!
