Lana's been giving us variations of LA to the Moon tour ever since it happened and some people still expect some kind of career defining life changing performance out of her If she sounded good be happy about it, goal achieved lol

I've been to a Lana gig before where I left 3 times to smoke outside. Her music is incredible but this isn't an essential part of things imo. Once you've seen it you've seen it. The rest of it... lil surprises, hairstyles, outfit, whatever, is cute and all but if you get hyped of course you'll be disappointed. Even if you go multiple times in person it's not some kind of magic unless you have some weird delusion about it all. They're just gigs. People need to chill with their high expectations, Lana has never done anything more live. If you want a show that's high energy and will surprise you just watch Beyonce like I do

That was so amazing - yes I understand many being underwhelmed because of the similar setlist but it was still great imo. She was on time (probably the biggest shocker of the night), we got Billie, Jon, and Jack, Without You, WEST COAST!!!, Jealous Girl mention, and THAT LOOK. Can't wait for weekend 2

Exactly what I thought. Since they so obviously referred to SNL, I waited all the time for a blue jeans performance in the same style. I wonder if it was planned but she then spontaneously skipped it because of her nervosity. 
 
However, with this kind of criticism addressing promotion, they should have done it a bit differently, showing her full range of vocal abilities

Gosh, she really did look beautiful. Wish she’d get rid of those dancers though

The only thing that really pissed me off is the crowd being so low but then singing loudly to Ocean Eyes like ☠️☠️☠️ that was just cringe for me

Well here is my review.
 
1. the entrance and exit was the most iconic thing she could have done, at that moment she looked like a superstar. 
2. The performance with Billie was beautiful, and Billie SHINED.
3. The microphone sucked, honestly. I've read comments saying it sounded great live. I feel like it's the mic problem that hurt the whole atmosphere.
4. The set list definitely could have been better..... It's coachella and she should keep the crowd upbeat and happy, plus I feel like there wasn't much energy in her voice. Sometimes she served vocals (when the microphone felt like working)
5. SHE LOOKED BEAUTIFUL, FOR A MOMENT I THOUGHT IT WAS 2012. 
6. she should've mentioned LASSO (we still have weekend two)
 
All in all I feel like this was a stand out show, but at the same time it felt like another Lana show, especially with the repeated setlist, I feel like she could have done so much more and made this the best show of her career.

Ngl I am  kinda disappointed right now, I think the expectations were just too high and the sound issues didn't help either
I  wish she showed a little more energy but maybe she was just nervous

I was kinda bummed she did only one minute of West Coast but she looked STUNNING. She kinda looked like straight out of  2012 too, the dress, the hair absolutely beautiful, one of her best looks ever
It did feel a bit lacklustre at times and I guess playing 40 minutes of ballads didn't help but I do loved the Ride performance, COCC, The Grants and Ocean Blvd were so pretty, the Coachella Candy Necklace  performance was her best Candy Necklace performance  so far imo, absolutely loved Ocean Eyes and Video Games with Billie
I think it would have helped to switch Bartender with Say Yes To Heaven or some other song and to put one or two more upbeat songs  in the middle of the ballad section to create more balance
Overall it was a good show though, I think I expected a bit too much but she looked stunning and gave us iconic moments plus one of her best stage designs yet
Edit: Oh and how could I forget Hope with the hologram and the SNL reference, that was iconic af
 

All of this whining just for us to be seated next week for the second performance 

so just an hour before she was gonna go live, i fell asleep  i woke up now and just finished watching her coachella performance and it was pretty good! that jealous girl intro was INSANE and VERY unpopular opinion: i didn’t have a problem with her performing the same songs. yeah, it was a little disappointing but i’m a sucker for ballads. i find it so crazy that we’re one of the few fandoms out there that seethes when piano is played. i feel like if a majority of lana’s ballads were made by rick or mike dean then that would be a different story but oh well (yet all piano sounds the same)  the sound issues were annoying, but it seemed to be an issue on coachella’s part which is frustrating so i understand why lana might’ve seemed mad in her set. hopefully next weekend we’ll hear some more songs.. love and lfl  im also disappointed we didnt get any lasso news but i feel it would be better for her to do that next weekend. anyways history was made!
