I know that this is a great placing for the second album in one year with 0 promo and no physicals for the most part, but I am still sad. This album deserved at least the success of Chemtrails. I have my hopes up the album won't tank in the next week with more vinyl being available with time, but no way this gonna be any higher than this. It peaked. Ugh.

true. it's just really apparent on this record in particular. something i forgot to mention is the audible white noise that goes on when her vocal is being played and stops when it's just the instrumental. that happens on arcadia and blue banisters and it's happened in her discography before but ITS SO LOUD on BB

He posted the cover on his IG story the day it was released and wrote "Beautiful", so I don't think there's any beef/drama.

Obviously I love the album overall and the new tracks but I just can’t get enough of Blue Banisters (title track)
 
I can’t possibly rank them, but it’s top three amongst the title tracks for me (with COCC and NFR).

That could have worked too, but really the magic with the yellow vinyl in all these pictures everyone is uploading is that it contrasts soooo good with the blue on the cover.

That was a DJ number in support of a Marsha P Johnson foundation iirc. The real streaming party where she was gonna use a software similar to this one that Lana is using was cancelled.

how are people still going w this... Charli XCX, Joanna Newsom, PJ Harvey and more are some of his most loved albums, he LOVED NFR, is right into hyperpop/hot girl rap genre etc and this year gave out two 10/10s for the first and second time since 2018 to Spellling and Lingua Ignota.
 
I think his criticisms are fair and it's not very controversial at all to say this sounds quite slapped together because it literally is quite close to an unreleased compilation. How ironic that people bemoan his dickriding fanbase (which to be fair is definitely real) but refuse to acknowledge his criticisms of Lana

Well I got a back order notification from UO concerning the yellow, I guess it’s a good sign?
Heard nothing from Target for red,
And nothing on Amazon’s white.
My local shop still hasn’t gotten word about black.
