I totally agree. It almost feels like her life's work has lead up to this album. To me, at least.

All these bitter posts and attacks on Jack and we haven't even heard the album in hq. Certain group of stans are getting more and more nervous and insecure as we approach closer to August 30, I wonder why. 

the album literally leaked in full last friday, might be potato quality but that's still the same album. Nothing to do with being nervous or insecure, sometimes you just don't feel the music

Uhm but LFL did give us 13 Beaches, Cherry, Heroin and Get Free and my guilty pleasure that is White Mustang and I still plan on pawing way for at least the last 3 mentioned once I start thinking about my dream NFR tour setlist

I don't think it's a bad album. It just doesn't necessarily fit within the narrative and the world she has created in her other albums. I adore TNC, Cherry, Heroin, Summer Bummer, Groupie Love, GBA, etc, but it feels more like a collection of songs with no direction.

Random question: Do you guys think she's actually going to change the entire setlist of her upcoming tour? It's the first time she actually has a tour that's called after her album titled, and also right after the album comes out instead of tour in between albums and giving random names to the tours?

Does the lack of cohesiveness of the tracks take away from the tracks though?

 

I think that's why it's my favorite Lana album, because all of the tracks sound different than each other.  If they all sound similar then IMO they start to blend together and lose their uniqueness.

Honestly LFL sounded forced in a way. The songs I’ve heard on this remind me of HM and UV bc it sounds so natural for her. Idk if she was being sarcastic in some way with LFL but it just didn’t... idk it didn’t hit like BTD did which the title seemed like it was referring too. Sure it had “elements” but being realistic, it just wasn’t there. It didn’t give the chills or feelings BTD, UV, or HM did when those first dropped. NFR I feel like will be that kind of album. Idk yet since I’ve still not heard it fully but I think she feels very comfortable with Jack and that will bring the quality back up to par that she left off with on HM.
