I usually don’t mind listening to officially released singles released before the album... I had doubts regarding WD tho, since it’s the album opener, then I thought: fuck, life’s too short to not listen to WD as soon as it drops!

Also, I listened to BTD, Ride, Honeymoon and Love before their respective albums were out and it didn’t ruin my first listen at all, so... WD I’m waiting for you don’t be shy

The snippet we heard is the only "upbeat" part of it and after that it's just Jack playing the only 2 chords he knows on a muted piano, which will be the perfect transition to LMBYLAW

Its interesting listening to violet now after knowing her thoughts from her recent interview. In salamander she writes about how "Some stories aren’t meant to be sold, some words aren’t meant to be told" and "You see, the things that can’t be bought can’t be evaluated". Her uncomfort with the album makes me wonder if some of those stories are on the album  Also the amount of times she references COCC in violet is fucking crazy  I hope the production from violet also reflects in COCC, Quiet Waiter Blue Forever and Paradise is Very Fragile are just so sonically beautiful  Give me that kind of magic Jack
